Man drops jail release papers after concealing wine in jacket during robbery

26-year-old Dallas Wease was charged with theft of merchandise after he was identified by jail release papers that he dropped while stealing two bottles of wine from Cork & Barrel.

On March 13th, Dallas Wease walked into the Cork & Barrel located at 68 Hermitage Avenue. He was seen grabbing two bottles of red wine and hiding them in his jacket. He then left the store without paying for the wine.

While concealing the bottles in his jacket, he dropped the release papers that he received when he was released from custody after he was found lying along Interstate 24 West at Exit 84 earlier that morning.

On October 6th, Dallas Wease was arrested and charged with theft of merchandise. He was later freed on pre-trial release.
