Man charged with burglarizing sister’s home

27-year-old Santonio Peebles was charged with aggravated burglary after his sister told authorities that he forced into her home damaging the storm door and stole her purse before fleeing in a green van.

On June 6th, Metro Nashville Police Officers responded to a domestic disturbance at 414 South 4th Street. Star Peebles resides at the apartment and told officers her brother Santonio Peebles forcibly entered her home through the storm door while she was sitting on her couch.

Star advised police that once inside, he began to yell profanities at her and threw a beer bottle on the floor in the living room. She also told them Santonio stole her purse from the living room before he fled in a green utility van. Santonio and his sister have a history of domestic violence but she did not sustain injuries during the incident. The storm door was damaged and the purse and contents were valued at $100.

On September 29th, Santonio Peebles was arrested and charged with aggravated burglary. He is currently jailed in lieu of a $15,000 bond.
