51-year-old Jerome Jenkins was charged with theft after he was caught attempting to steal liquor by the owner of the establishment.
October 27th, Mr. Panka Patel filed a report with Metro Nashville Police, claiming he saw Jerome Jenkins trying to take alcohol from his store without paying. Patel retrieved his merchandise and detained Jerome until officers arrived. He added that Jerome had shoplifted from his establishment several times and wanted to prosecute against him.
Jerome Jenkins was charged with theft of merchandise. He is currently jailed in lieu of a $1,000 bond.
