Intoxicated woman hurls Amazon Echo through mother’s house

33-year-old Tyeisha Baker was charged with domestic vandalism after she showed up at her mother’s residence intoxicated and hurled her brother’s Amazon Echo at a porcelain figure.

On October 27th, Metro Nashville Police Officers were called regarding a domestic that happened the day prior. Tyeisha Baker’s brother told officers Tyeisha showed up to their house intoxicated. The brother and their mother, Elizabeth Baker, questioned how she was buying liquor when she did not work, which made Tyeisha upset.

They also stated she threw her brother’s Amazon Echo at the entertainment center, breaking a porcelain figure in the process. Her brother then removed her from the residence and she left on foot before officers arrived. Elizabeth and her son stated they wanted to file a report for the damage of their $10 porcelain figure and $50 Amazon Echo. Tyeisha returned to the house half an hour later and was taken into custody.

Tyeisha Baker was arrested and charged with vandalism. She is currently jailed in lieu of a $1,000 bond.
