44-year-old Madinah Smith was charged with theft after being observed by Walmart Loss Prevention attempting to conceal $246 worth of items and leave the store without paying.
On September 8th, Walmart Loss Prevention observed Madinah Smith conceal merchandise and attempt to exit the store located on 4040 Nolensville Pike. Smith bypassed all points of sale.
Walmart showed the Metro Police the video of the incident. Police determined that there was enough probable cause to arrest.
Madinah Smith was arrested and charged with theft of merchandise. Bond was set at $2,500.
