Man knowingly uses stolen credit card at Motel 6 while posing as the victim

18-year-old Nathaniel Minassian was charged with credit card fraud and identity theft after trying to use a stolen credit card at Motel 6.

On September 16th, Nathaniel Minassian used a stolen credit card at Motel 6 located at 323 Cartwright Street to book a hotel room while portraying himself to be Mark Miller. At the same time, Miller’s wife received an alert that her husband’s credit card was being used and called the police. Minassian was interviewed by Metropolitan Davidson County police officers at the Motel 6.

Minassian admitted under his Miranda rights that he knew the credit card was stolen and that he still used it and portrayed himself to be Mark Miller. Motel 6 also had video evidence of Minassian using the card at this location.

Nathaniel Minassian was arrested and charged with identity theft and credit card fraud. His bond was set at $5,000.
