23-year-old Helen Payton was charged with theft after a computer check confirmed she was the individual seen stealing from Kohl’s.
On April 11th, Kohl’s security camera showed Helen Payton concealing merchandise and passing all of the points of sale. The camera also captured Payton using her debit card and entering the pin number before exiting the store.
A state computer check of Payton’s information produced a Tennessee driver’s license matching the person in the Kohl’s security camera footage.
On September 2nd, Helen Payton was arrested and charged with theft. Her bond was set at $1,000.
