Georgia man charged with public intoxication after cursing employees at Speedway

24-year-old Don Pitchford was charged with public intoxication after he cussed and yelled at the employees of Speedway and then refused to leave.

On September 9th, Metro Police responded to Speedway located at 2600 Gallatin Pike regarding a man who was possibly intoxicated. Upon arrival, officers observed a severely intoxicated man who was cussing and yelling at the employees. The employees stated that the man, later identified at Don Pitchford, was causing problems and they wanted the man removed from the location.

Pitchford told officers that he was from Georgia and was staying in a hotel but could not remember the location of the hotel.

Don Pitchford was arrested and charged with public intoxication. His bond was set at $100.
