Man arrested a year after he stole $200 in toiletries from CVS

33-year-old Jadon Simon was charged with two counts of theft of merchandise when he nabbed a large amount of toothpaste, toothbrush heads, detergent, diapers, and wipes from a local CVS within three days.

On June 15th, 2019, CVS manager Jennifer Cameron called police in reference to a theft at the Gallatin Avenue location. Cameron stated that Jadon Simon had stolen from the store on June 12th and June 15th, 2019.

Around 6 pm on June 12th, she said that he stole four packs of toothpaste and four electronic toothbrush heads. He returned on June 15th and stole a large amount of detergent, diapers, and wipes and fled in a gold Chrysler. The total value of the stolen merchandise was $200. Both incidents were caught on surveillance cameras and Simon was positively identified by Cameron in a photo lineup.

On August 18th, 2020, Jadon Simon was arrested and charged with two counts of theft of merchandise. His bond was set at $2,000 and was later freed on pre-trial release.
