23-year-old Derek Settles was charged with three counts of vandalism when he damaged two of his ex-girlfriend’s TVs and her door frame during an argument.
On March 20th, Shana Butler told police that she and her ex-boyfriend Derek Settles were in an argument before he began throwing her items around.
After throwing around her items in her bedroom and front room he left. She stated that he caused damage to both of her Sanyo televisions causing them to no longer work. Settles returned to the residence but Butler did not allow him back inside so he kicked the door causing damage to the frame. He does not reside at that address.
On August 4th, Derek Settles was arrested and charged with three counts of vandalism. His bond was set at $3,000.
