Disorderly woman at crime scene quelled by threat of being pulled into squad car

34-year-old Toni Bright was charged with resisting arrest and disorderly conduct when she started interfering with a Metro Police investigation on Gallatin Pike.

On August 18th, Toni Bright walked up to the scene of an investigation at 351 Gallatin Pike and started to interfere with MNPD’s work. Police told Bright multiple times to leave the area, but she refused and began to scream at the police.

Authorities began to arrest Bright for disorderly conduct, but before she was in handcuffs she began to push officers and swing her arms. After she was finally restrained, she refused to step into the squad car. She was finally persuaded after she was told she would be pulled in otherwise.

Toni Bright was arrested and charged with resisting arrest and disorderly conduct. Her bond was set at $2,000.
