34-year-old Carmeka Worthington was charged with domestic assault after she was involved in an argument with her boyfriend about money that turned physical when she pulled on his clothes and spit in his face, per report.
On April 18th, officers were called to 125 Lafayette Street in reference to a domestic disturbance. Fredrick Roper told police that he was involved in an argument with girlfriend Carmeka Worthington that turned physical.
According to the affidavit, Roper said they had been arguing about their financial issues and that during the argument, Worthington pulled on his clothes and then spit in his face. Worthington left the scene before officers arrived.
On July 14th, Carmeka Worthington was arrested and charged with domestic assault. Her bond was set at $3,500.
