23-year-old Lexus Ikeard was charged with domestic assault after tying up her husband and threatening to assault him for reportedly sleeping with another woman.
On May 28, Travis Lawless was asleep and awoke with his hands bound by a necktie. Lawless’ wife Lexus Ikeard was on the couch and threatened to attack Lawless. According to the affidavit, Ikeard’s reasoning for tying up and assaulting Lawless was due to him “having sex with another woman.” Lawless was then struck in the head by a closed fist while still tied up on the floor.
Lawless claimed that his mother was present during the assault and witnessed the incident. The officer then determined that Ikeard was the primary aggressor and took her into custody for domestic assault.
Lexus Ikeard was arrested and charged with domestic assault. Her bond was set at $1,500.
