Nashville woman threatens to cut daughter’s neck, charged with aggravated assault

54-year-old Beatrice Heger was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after she charged toward her daughter with a knife and threatened to cut her neck while meeting up to get her belongings at a local Mapco.

On April 30th, officers were dispatched to Mapco at 1090 Murfreesboro Pike in reference to a domestic disturbance. Upon arrival, Latoya Heger reported that she was involved in an altercation with her mother Beatrice Heger.

Latoya said she had her mother’s property in her car and brought them to Mapco to give it all to her. Beatrice is homeless and stays around that area.

According to the affidavit, Beatrice and Latoya were in a verbal argument and Beatrice threatened to cut her tire with a knife. She then came toward Latoya with the knife and threatened to “cut her neck”. Officers noted that a witness corroborated Latoya’s story.

Beatrice Heger was arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Her bond was set at $5,000.
