Nashville woman charged for stabbing ex-boyfriend in the head with a steak knife, per report

42-year-old Akish Combs was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after pushing her ex-boyfriend and stabbing him in the back of the head with a steak knife, per report.

On April 16th, Officer Joseph Patricio was dispatched in reference to a domestic disturbance. Upon arrival, Richie Anderson reported that he was involved in a verbal argument with ex-girlfriend Akish Combs at her home located at 125 A University Court. Richie said that during the argument, they both began to push and shove each other.

Richie continued by saying that Akish then grabbed a steak knife from a kitchen drawer and stabbed him in the back of the head. Officers noted that Richie did have a laceration that looked fresh and was still bleeding. According to the affidavit, Richie was taken to Centennial Hospital to treat his injury.

Police then spoke with Akish, who admitted she and Richie were involved in a verbal argument and they pushed each other. She said she pushed Richie so hard that he fell and hit his head on the corner of a cabinet and that was how his head was injured. Officers noted that Akish had no visible injuries and Richie did not wish to prosecute.

Akish Combs was arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Her bond was set at $5,000.
