26-year-old Ahmad Al-Mahmmody was charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance after being found wandering into backyards of residences and a search revealed cocaine and molly in his pocket.
On March 11th, officers responded to calls about a person of suspect in the area of Dowdy and Fanning Drives. According to the affidavit, when they met with Ahmad Al-Mahmmody they engaged in a consensual conversation and Ahmad allowed the officers to search his person.
The search produced a small blue bag with a dusty substance which Ahmad freely identified as cocaine and molly. The substance weighed 1.2 grams and Ahmad was not eligible for a state citation due to a failure to book and failure to appear within the last five years.
Ahmad Al-Mahmmody was arrested and charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance. He was freed on pre-trial release.
