24-year-old Jeremiah Valentine has been charged with vandalism after using his head to shatter her car window from the inside during an argument.
Officers responded to Brentwood Place regarding a possibly suicidal person. After making contact with the involved parties, officers found that the victim, Asiah Jones, and the defendant, Jeremiah Valentine, are dating and that they had gotten into a heated argument. The disagreement took place in Ms. Jones’ vehicle. Jones stated that while arguing Valentine said that he was going to hurt himself and hit his head against the window from the inside, shattering it.
Valentine stated that he and Jones were indeed arguing and confirmed that he had gotten frustrated and shattered the window with his head. Yet, Valentine denies the claim that he wanted to hurt himself and instead claims that he stated, “I don’t want to hurt myself.” Valentine had a few minor cuts to his forehead from breaking the glass, per the incident report.
Jeremiah Valentine has posted a $1000.00 bond after being charged with vandalism of less than $1000.00.
