25-year-old Country Music Artist Cagney Frizzell was charged with his 2nd DUI on September 10th, after a THP Trooper noticed he couldn’t keep it between the lines and clocked him going 90 in a 70 mph zone in Wilson County.
Cagney Allen Frizzell was stopped on I-40 in Wilson County on September 10th, after his speed was measured at 90 mph in a 70 mph zone, and his vehicle was observed crossing over the fog line of the interstate road. THP Trooper Topps noted a strong odor of alcohol coming from Frizzell, and clues of impairment on all field sobriety tests offered to him.

Frizzell told police he had two beers prior to driving and refused further BAC testing. Frizzell was taken into custody and charged with DUI – Driving under the influence 2nd offense, violation of the implied consent law, speeding, and a traffic violation for crossing the fog line. Frizzell has a previous DUI in Dickson County from November of 2012.
Cagney Frizzell, 25, was booked into the Wilson County Jail, and later released on a $3,000 bond via Tidwell Bonding. He is scheduled to appear in court in January of 2020.
