Breaux was transported to St. Thomas Midtown for minor injuries, where her blood was drawn as the result of a search warrant, granted after she refused to submit a sample on her own free will. Breaux did disclose to officers she had 2 prior DUI arrests in Louisiana, which they were able to confirm resulted in two different suspensions of her driver’s license.

Mattie Breaux was booked into the Metro Jail at 6:21 a.m. Monday morning, and posted a $2,500 bond later that evening, and released at 3:30 p.m. She is scheduled to appear in court in early September.
