Metro Police found Benjamin Lott, 32, drunkenly walking on Cahal just after midnight, describing his level of intoxication as “quite high”.
Lott was walking on Cahal Ave at approximately 12:15 a.m. when Metro Nashville Police observed him having trouble standing up and staggering when attempting to walk. They noted a ‘very strong’ smell of alcohol coming from him, along with extremely slurred speech, and were concerned he was ‘very much’ a danger to himself.
Benjamin Lott was taken into custody, transported to booking, and charged with public intoxication.
