He stole his girlfriend’s iPhone & car key, fled campus, dared her to file charges. She did.

20-year-old Jalen Radford was sitting in his girlfriend’s vehicle on the TSU Campus on April 28th, when he suddenly took her vehicle key fob and iPhone XS Max, and fled the campus. When the phone was tracked to his home while she was in police headquarters, he told them “file charges, I don’t care”.

Jalen Radford is charged with felony theft, after the items he stole from his girlfriend’s vehicle were estimated to be approximately $1750.00 in value. Once he took the key fob and rose gold iPhone XS Max from his girlfriend’s vehicle on the TSU Campus, he got into another vehicle and left school grounds. His girlfriend went to police headquarters and the phone was tracked to Radford’s home on Tall Trees Lane. Radford refused to return the items, and said they could file charges, that he didn’t care.

A felony warrant for his arrest was issued on the same say of the theft, April 28th, and Radford was served at 3:13 a.m. on April 29th, and booked into the Davidson County Jail. Radford posted a $2,500 bond, and is schedule to appear in court Monday morning, May 6th.
