Man calls 911 25+ times, asks when officers are coming to kill him

Metro Nashville Police charged 55-year-old John Steverson with aggravated misuse of 911 Wednesday, after he called Nashville’s 911 system over two dozen times, asking when officers were coming to kill him.

Metro’s Emergency Communications Center received over 25 calls from Steverson on April 24th, stating that he believed someone was “after him and trying to kill him”. ECC advised police that Steverson was rambling, yelling incoherent statements, and keep calling 911 repeatedly to ask for the date and time when police officers were coming to kill him.
