Man charged with cashing counterfeit $1,000 money order

Nicholas Clifton, 36, was arrested on Wednesday, charged with an outstanding warrant for criminal simulation.

Police say Clifton cashed a counterfeit $1,000.00 money order at Tennessee Quick Cash in March of 2018, defrauding the victim of the $950.00 in cash they provided him, in return.

Clifton was charged with criminal simulation < $1,000, and is free on pre-trial release.
