Former HG Hill Middle School PTO President Janice Adrian indicted on felony theft charges

Former HG Hill Middle School PTO President Janice Adrian has been arrested, after she was indicted on felony theft charges from the organization.

A Grand Jury indictment (copy below) shows true bills returned on two charges. The fist count charges Adrian with felony theft of money in the amount of $10,000-$60,000, between August 2014 and August 2017, from the PTO. The second count charges Adrian with felony unauthorized use of a credit card belonging to the organization, in the amount of $1,000-$10,000.

Janie Adrian posted a $15,000 bond yesterday. An arraignment has not yet been scheduled.

In total, she is accused of stealing $31,490, which includes 36 purchases using the PTO debit card for personal bills, clothes, cigarettes, and furniture, and nearly $7K was withdrawn from 25 ATM transactions for personal use.
