1805 Ultra Lounge padlocked in early morning raid as ‘ public nuisance’

Metro Nashville police began raiding 1805 Ultra Lounge, at 1805 Church St., in Midtown in the early morning hours of Wednesday. Violence and drug activity have led to the place being declared a public nuisance by a judge. A padlocking order is being executed, signed by Steve Dozier.

An investigation found 84 incidents since 2014, including 2 murders connected to the location. Metro SWAT had to force entry when the venue refused to let them in. One person in the business at the time of the raid ran into the bathroom and destroyed 2 cell phones as the SWAT team entered the business.
