Metro Police K-9 Ringo and his partner, Officer Spencer Harris, tracked 21-year-old Jairo Hernandez, who was wanted for burglary, on Blackman Drive this afternoon, where he was taken into custody after being found hiding in a shed.
Police say it all started at 6:30 a.m. on Friday, when they responded to a burglary call in the 5000 block of Edmondson Pike. The resident was awakened by the sound of breaking glass, and found a man in his kitchen, where the two fought before the burglar fled.

Around Noon on Friday, police received information the burglar had returned to the area, and they flooded the area with officers after being told he was last seen heading into a wooded area. Ringo found a track on the suspect, and he was found hiding in a small shed in the 200 block of Blackman Drive.
Jario Hernandez, 19, is charged with aggravated burglary. At time of publication he had not yet been in front of a commissioner to have his bond set.
