Officials saw the cats were living in deplorable conditions, the home had feces and urine throughout, and a very strong odor of ammonia. A majority of the cats were underweight and had skin infections from untreated parasite infections. Many also had untreated mouth inflammation, which is a very painful condition, along with chronic upper respiratory infection.
