DUI: East Nashville Bartender blows 0.287 – Marie Mann Arrested

Early Friday morning, Marie Frances Mann received a DUI at East Nashville’s most notorious DUI spot – the flashing red light at N 11th and Gartland. Unlike most others though, she blew a BAC that we’ve rarely seen – a 0.287 BAC.

According to a MNPD report, at 1:50 AM, an officer observed a red pickup truck that failed to stop at the flashing red light at N 11th and Gartland and stopped past the stop bar at the flashing red light at N 11th and Gallatin. A traffic stop was conducted & contact with the driver, Marie Frances Mann.

The officer states while speaking to her, he could smell the obvious odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from her expelled breath and person, her eyes were blood shot and watery, and she admitted to consuming two beers and a large shot of Tequila. She performed badly on SFST’s & was taken into custody for DUI.

Marie Mann‘s breathalyzer test results were 0.287g/210L and 0.284g/210L – well over 3 times the legal limit in Tennessee. Mann was charged with DUI and will appear in court on 04/13/18.
