Patient charged after spitting on Vanderbilt Nurse; throwing coffee — Jimmy White Jr.

20-year-old Jimmy White, Jr. is charged with assault after he was being restrained and spit on a Registered Nurse in charge of his care at Vanderbilt Hospital. Earlier in the day he also threw a cup of coffee at the nurse. Bond was set at $250.

ARREST WARRANT / AFFIDAVIT:
On the above date the defendant was a patient at VUMC and the victim was a nurse in charge of victim’s medical case. In an attempt to get the defendant to take his medication, the defendant became violent and had to be restrained. In this process, the defendant spit on the victim and scratched the victim’s hand and his chest. This was after the defendant threw a cup of coffee at the victim.
