Man stabbed by girlfriend in nose during an argument over her phone — self-defense

21-year-old Quilandric Buford is charged with vandalism after police say he smashed the phone of his girlfriend, Tishara Larkin, on the ground after she stabbed him in the nose with her keys.

Tishara Larkin told police she and her boyfriend, Quilandric Buford, were arguing on August 1st after he took her cell phone and exclaimed “I’m going to break it!”. She changed after him in an attempt to retrieve the phone and she says he stepped toward her with raised fists as if he were about to assault her. She says she felt threatened and used her keys to stab him in the nose in self-defense. Buford then smashed her phone on the ground, destroying it.

Quilandric Buford was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail at 12:26 a.m. on August 2nd, charged with vandalism. He is free on a $1,500 bond.
