39-year-old David Allen Touchet, a Texas realtor visiting Nashville, was jailed this weekend after he was reportedly being drunk and disorderly at the Renaissance Hotel and refused to go up to his room when asked, instead choosing to hurl racial slurs at a security guard, while punching another in the throat. Metro Nashville police arrived late Sunday night to find hotel security physically restraining David Trouchet on the ground, where he was still yelling and attempting to fight. Security explained the guest was too intoxicated and when they asked him to return to his room, and out of the public area, he attempted to fight them, used racial slurs, and acting aggressive, including punching one of the officers in the throat.

David Allen Touchet, 39, was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail just before 1 a.m. Monday, charged with assault. He is free on pre-trial release.
