27-year-old Taylor Smith is free on a $3,000 bond after pushing his girlfriend into a rose bush while chasing her through a South Nashville neighborhood.

Metro Nashville Police say Taylor Smith was chasing his girlfriend, Amber Smith, around parked cars on Rains Ave. in South Nashville on April 20th. At the time of his arrest, Smith was out on bond from a March arrest, during which his mother’s home security system captured video of him taking $4200 in cash from her bedroom, while his girlfriend distracted a juvenile that was at the mother’s home, by taking her on a ride to the gas station down the road.

Taylor Eugene Smith was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on April 20th at 6:12 p.m., charged with domestic assault with bodily injury. He posted a $3,000 bond and was released after the state-mandated 12-hour hold for domestic violence cases.
