44-year-old Robert Wicks was charged with domestic assault and public indecency after he threw his girlfriend to the ground and punched her in the chest before officers found him urinating at the scene where the assault took place.
On October 14th, Metro Nashville Police officers responded to a fight on 9 Hermitage Avenue. When officers arrived, Cynthia Rankins stated her boyfriend, Robert Wicks, had pushed her to the ground and punched her in the chest several times.
Rankins stated Wicks started the fight because she spoke with someone else she knew. Wicks was found behind the location of the assault urinating on the building. Per the affidavit, Wicks was in plain view of pedestrians and cars driving by. Several witnesses advised officers Wicks had started the fight with Rankins unprovoked.
Robert Wick was arrested and charged with domestic assault and public indecency. He is currently jailed in lieu of a $4,000 bond.
