19-year-old Skyler Whitefield-Brewner was charged with domestic assault when he threw a can that hit a 13-year-old girl and then threatened to kill her father. The incident began because the father felt Skyler was invading people’s privacy.
On May 17th, Nashville Metro Police responded to a domestic incident at 1612 Amberwood Circle. According to the affidavit, Skyler Whitefield-Brewner and Johnny Romines got into a verbal altercation about the invasion of privacy in their home. When Romines attempted to walk away Skyler chucked a can of air freshener toward him which instead impacted Romines’ juvenile child in her back.
Romines’ statement in a request for a protection order noted that Skyler also told him “I promise you that I’m going to kill you.” It also suggested that Skyler Whitefield-Brewner’s countenance has changed in the last six months after joining a gang and selling and consuming drugs.
Skyler Whitefield-Brewner was arrested and charged with domestic assault. His bond was set at $1,000.
