19-year-old Siaana Cheyenne Peacock was booked on a marijuana charge Tuesday, after a victim claimed Peacock assaulted her on the TSU campus, but refused to press charges.
Metro Nashville Police responded to 3500 John A Merritt Blvd late Tuesday in response to a fight. Upon arrival, a female victim, Jaden Brooks, told officers Sianne Peacock assaulted her on the TSU campus then fled in a red Honda Civic. Officers located the vehicle, and the 19-year-old driver, Sianna Cheyenne Peacock, in Wendy’s parking lot on 28th Ave N. While at Peacock’s car, the officers report smelling marijuana, and that giving them probable cause to search Peacock’s Civic.
A search resulted in a bag of marijuana in the center console, and Peacock was placed under arrest, charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance. Officers felt that since Peacock had a Georgia Address that she would likely not show up for court, so a physical arrest was completed in lieu of a citation. Once at booking, she was processed and freed on pre-trial release. Jaden Brooks refused to prosecute for the assault. Peacock is scheduled to appear in court in January.
