The Davidson County Grand Jury has indicted 27-year-old Michael Constantine on charges of aggravated sexual battery, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, and aggravated assault by strangulation. He used a cord during the assault.
Metro Police say Michael Andrew Constantine engaged in unlawful sexual contact with a 31-year-old woman from Clarksville on February 27th and caused injuries to her during the assault. Some details of the Grand Jury indictment include Constantine using a cord during the assault, and strangling the victim.
Constantine was booked on 1 count aggravated sexual battery, 1 count aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, and 1 count aggravated assault by strangulation. He was taken into custody on June 19th and posted a $10,000 bond. His arraignment is scheduled for July 10th.
