On Thursday, DCSO inmate Emmitt Shaw Jr. was charged with possession of a controlled substance in a penal institution, when drugs were found in his cell.
Officers were conducting cell searches at 5115 Harding place, when CCA Officer Burgess located cocaine in Emmitt Shaw’s cell. Shaw is currently serving a six-year sentence for felony drug charges. He now faces an additional felony.
