As she was in bed sleeping for the night on January 7th, she says he woke her up to accuse her of talking to another man. She got up from the bed, and he followed her to the bathroom, slapping her in the face during the argument. A minor child heard the argument and the slap to the face and forced his way into the bedroom to see Ricardo pushing Shaniqua.

Lajuana Wilson intoxicated and “rolling around with her pants down” at East Nashville intersection

36-year-old Lajuana Wilson was found “rolling around with her pants down” at the intersection of Eastland and Gallatin just before 10 a.m. Saturday. Officers arrived to witness this and noticed she was extremely intoxicated. As they attempted to assist her, she began to stumble toward the nearby Aldi store. She was accompanied by her boyfriend and another gentleman, neither of who felt they could properly care for her in her current state. She was taken into custody and charged with public intoxication.

Jamilrah Sanford attacks her baby daddy and his new girlfriend with a Slushie; drags her by the hair

26-year-old Jamilrah Sanford is free on a $3,000 bond after she was jailed for attacking the father of her child, Nicholas Turner, and his new girlfriend, Keri bell, and then throwing a Sluhie on them when she was done with the assault. The incident, which happened in late November at the Urban Air park, began when she approached Nicholas while he was visiting with their son at the location. Jamilrah was reportedly upset that his new girlfriend was present and attempted to punch her in the face. Nicholas reportedly stepped in between his past and future and took the punch. Jamilrah then reportedly followed them as they walked to the front door and grabbed his girlfriend by her hair, and dragged her. Immediately after the assault, Jamilrah approached the couple again and threw a full Slushie on both victims.

27-year-old Katerria Dixon is charged with leaving her children unattended in her Ford Fusion after Vanderbilt Police received a call from a concerned citizen. The incident happened on December 18th, and VUPD received the call at 9:50 p.m. stating the minor children were alone in a vehicle in the parking lot of Ross Dress for Less at 100 Oaks Mall. Officers were waiting at her vehicle when she returned at 10:01 p.m., and she was issued a state citation.

81-year-old Luther Brooks caught with hand down child’s pants, says depression made him do it

81-year-old Luther Wayne Brooks of the AVIVA Maybelle Carter Senior Living Center was at a residence on January 5th where a young child was present. The child’s mother noticed it was unusually quiet in the room where Brooks and the child were, and she went to check on them. As she entered the room, she observed Luther sitting in a chair and the child standing between his legs, facing outward. Luther’s hand was inside and down the front of the child’s pants, and he was moving his hand around while bouncing the child up and down. As the mother immediately confronted him, Luther stated, “You caught me!” During a recorded phone call with the child’s father and detectives, Luter stated he “was not talking about it” when asked about the situation. He further stated that his depression was to blame, it had gotten worse, and he needed the release.

Troy Smith leaves wet spot on his lover after assault in Nashville hotel

James Shardale Taylor says his lover, 23-year-old Troy Smith, tossed a duffle bag containing his cell phone off of the 5th-floor balcony of their West End hotel late Saturday evening. The two had been arguing as Troy wanted to visit a shopping mall, and James did not want to go. Troy reportedly became “erratic,” causing James to record the interaction. When James said he wanted to level the hotel room, he says Troy told him he would have to fight him to leave the room. He then reportedly snatched the phone away from James and attacked him, strangling him and leaving him with visible injuries to his neck. Troy also poured a beer onto James, leaving him with a wet spot on his shirt. Police arrived and took Troy into custody. The cell phone was retrieved and was damaged as a result of the fall.

Mikel Hawkins charged after attempting to prevent woman from getting medical care

Police say 52-year-old Mikel Ray Hawkins came out of Rippy’s Honky Tonk in downtown Nashville Friday evening with a female, and officers observed they were overly intoxicated. Officers approached the pair and asked them to arrange a ride home via rideshare for their own safety. As they were speaking, the female fell to the ground. Medics were called to the scene and attempted to evaluate the woman, but Mikel refused to allow any treatment and continued to attempt to grab the woman from the ground and leave. Due to his level of intoxication and interference with the situation, Hawkins was taken into custody and charged with public intoxication.

Security at the Home2 Suites by Hilton near Vanderbilt in Nashville say 29-year-old Jennifer Finch Hall of the 615 Dollhouse Salon was extremely intoxicated and refused to leave a room on the property. Police arrived, and Finch agreed to leave to avoid jail, and officers followed her to the main lobby door near the sidewalk. When she was told she could not leave in her vehicle due to her level of intoxication, Finch refused to walk away. Finch was unable to locate anyone to pick her up or arrange travel to an alternate location, despite multiple attempts. With nowhere else to go, officers took her into custody and charged her with public intoxication.

Police say she was not a guest of the hotel, and security had asked her to leave the property multiple times. Harp reportedly told security she needed a place to sleep and was going to stay at the hotel “with or without a room!” As officers arrived to take her into custody for criminal trespass, she slipped her handcuffs once inside the patrol car, and she maneuvered in a way that allowed her to attempt to kick out the back window during transport to booking.

After leaving Monster Jam Saturday night, 32-year-old Steve Zierke was driving back to Antioch with his wife, Christine McGarry Zierke, in the passenger seat. While he was driving, Steven reportedly reached over and grabbed his wife by the neck in anger. Once they arrived at their Post Oak Drive residence, Christine was sitting on the couch when she said Steve once again reached over and grabbed her by the neck, this time using both hands. 35-year-old Lindsay Lyons was kicked out of the FGL House bar in downtown Nashville in the early hours of Sunday morning due to her behavior but refused to leave the property. Metro Nashville Police Officers arrived at the location, and she continued to refuse to leave. Officers asked one last time for her to arrange a rideshare or way home, and Lyons reportedly told police, “take me to jail!” while screaming profanities at them. Due to her obvious state of intoxication and refusal to cooperate for her own safety, she was transported to booking and charged with public intoxication.

Austin Harrison charged in brutal assault of girlfriend, strangles her unconscious, drags her by hair

23-year-old Austin Harrison was jailed this week on an outstanding felony warrant charging him with aggravated assault/strangulation. Elizabeth Egan says her boyfriend, Austin, had locked her out of their shared residence, and an argument continued as he let her back inside. He reportedly punched her and knocked her onto the ground before getting on top of her and strangling her until she lost consciousness. When she came to, Egan says she was being dragged by her hair into another room. When he realized she was conscious again, he continued the assault and strangled her a second time. During a struggle, she was able to kick him in the face twice, after which he stood up, walked upstairs, and fell asleep or passed out across the bed. Jaden Winsor fights with bouncers after kicked from Whisky Row bar in Nashville

Police say tourist Anthony Jaden Winsor was in a physical altercation with a bouncer at Whisky Row in downtown Nashville just before 1 a.m. Saturday. Officers observed the fight and intervened, separating both parties. Winsor showed signs of extreme intoxication and reeked of alcohol. As officers attempted to take Jade Winsor into custody for public intoxication, he pulled his arms away and flailed about with his arms and legs. Fresh outta jail, Erica Alcorn threatens to kill two small children and their mother

36-year-old Erica Leigh Alcorn was jailed for the past two years, and when she was recently released, she picked up exactly where she left off. Alcorn says a woman Krist Pegg, owed her $800 when she was incarcerated. While she was in jail, Pegg passed away, and now Alcorn wants Pegg’s daughter, Hailey Stevenson, to pay up. Haily says she was always shielded from her mother’s activities, which sometimes included the selling of drugs, and knew nothing of Alcorn’s claim. Despite multiple requests to stop, Alcorn had continued to make threats to Hailey, such as commenting on her social media, “Girl, just pay me your momma’s debt, or your kids will pay for it, okay?” Another message said, “bullets don’t have eyes, so let’s just hope you nor the boys are near windows,” and finally, on her own page, she posted, “Y’all can laugh now, but when y’all are crying because you have to bury two little boys who’s laughing then?”

Victoria Anderson tosses drink in woman’s face, sends her to surgery after attack at Sonny’s Bar

Abigail Wate Ayala says she was at Sonny’s Bar on December 12th with her ex-boyfriend when 27-year-old Victoria ‘Toria’ Marie Anderson suddenly appeared at the bar and tossed a drink onto her before exiting the building. As Abigail and her ex were leaving the bar an hour later, Toria Anderson was still outside waiting for them. Toria shoved Abigail from behind, causing her to sustain serious injuries, including a torn UCL and fractures to her elbow, requiring surgery. Toria also took Abigail’s cell phone from her and deleted the video that she had recorded of the altercation, then smashed the phone onto the ground. Officers obtained security footage of the attacks and took out warrants for Anderson, including one for felony aggravated assault, and she was taken into custody this week.

‘The Nashville Cowboy’ Colby Barrett booked on yet another assault charge

The “The Nashville Cowboy,” AKA 47-year-old Benjamin ‘Colby’ Barrett, with who tourists had a longstanding #FindTheCowboy game when he was the doorman at Layla’s in downtown Nashville, has been charged with the assault of Dallas Webb. Barrett was booked on the state citation this week for the incident that occurred in mid-October on Demonbreun Street. Police say Barrett and Webb were in a verbal altercation that turned physical when Barrett assaulted Webb. Webb then punched Barrett back in self-defense. Previously, Colby was charged with the felony aggravated assault of a woman. Since leaving Layla’s, Colby has attempted to start a tour company where he will escort tourists around town to various bars, called ‘The Cowboy Cruze’
