Mya Delgado calls 911 on her girlfriend, but she goes to jail for assault

23-year-old Mya Delgado called 911 to report her girlfriend, Chelsea Channel Bryanton (AKA Cinko), wouldn’t allow her to retrieve her belongings from their shared apartment. The couple returned home after being out at a nightclub and got into an argument as Mya had a flat tire on the way home with no way to call for help due to Chelsea taking her phone. Mya says Chelsea came at her, so she threw her keys at her in “self-defense” from approximately 8-10 feet away. Chelsea told police that Mya came home and began destroying the bedroom looking for her phone, and then pushed Chelsea down in anger. Once she found them, Mya reportedly hit her girlfriend in the head while holding the keys. Due to the victim’s documented injuries and the damage around the home, Mya was determined to be the primary aggressor and taken into custody.

35-year-old Krysta Powell is free on a $25,000 bond after police say she and a man entered the Luxury Label store on Crestmoor Road and walked out with a Hermes Birkin bag, a Hublot watch, and a Versace silk shirt, valued at $26,900 in total. Video footage shows them asking to see items up closed and leaving an area with the items concealed on them. Jacob Terry kicks in neighbor’s door & assaults him over trash can dispute

22-year-old Jacob Terry was at his mother’s home in Nashville, where he has been in a drawn-out battle with her neighbor over the placement of trash cans. The neighbor, Qiang Liu, moved the trashcans over a bit as they were directly in front of one of his windows. Late that night, Jacob kicked in the victim’s door and placed both of his fists under the victim’s chin, and threatened to beat him while yelling never to touch their trash cans again. The neighbor stated he wanted to handle this peacefully when Jacob knocked his glasses off his face. As Jacob was fleeing the home, he pushed the door into the victim, leaving him with an injury. A warrant was issued for Jacob’s arrest, and he was booked on that outstanding warrant for assault this week.

Anthony Barrie — screaming, crying, and drunkenly playing in traffic in downtown Nashville

24-year-old Anthony Austin Barrie told police he had been drinking at a downtown Nashville bar and had a “few drinks” before employees of Bar Louie in the Gulch noticed him drunkenly running through traffic and screaming and crying before arriving at their bar, where he cursed at employees. Metro Nashville Police arrived and attempted to facilitate a ride, but he refused and attempted to walk away. Barrie was taken into custody and charged with public intoxication.

Police 19-year-old Lashawn Howard located her ex-boyfriend, Thomas Smith, on New Year’s Eve in the parking lot of his apartment complex and used her vehicle to block him in to prevent him from driving away. William Vossburgh — drunk and disorderly at Nashville Airport

44-year-old William Vossburgh accompanied his son to the Nashville International Airport to see him off on a Southwest flight on January 1st. After his son’s plane departed, he was confronted by Airport Police, who told him to leave the airport, stating he did not have a valid boarding pass and appeared to be intoxicated. He was reportedly using improper language around families at the gate and annoying the general public in the area. While Vossburgh initially agreed to leave Airport property, minutes later he became verbally aggressive with Airport Police. Officers then decided to place him into custody for public intoxication and transported him downtown to booking.

Kaydence Armstrong charged in Wedgewood shooting of her boyfriend

19-year-old Kaydence Armstrong confessed on New Year’s day to shooting her boyfriend, Christon Collins. Officers responded to the Wedgewood Ave apartment to find Collins with gunshot graze wounds to his left arm and right leg. The couple had been in a physical altercation earlier, but according to a witness, the argument was already over when Kaydence retrieved the gun and fired eight shots. Officers recovered the gun from her purse, along with eight spent shell casings at the scene. She remains jailed in lieu of a $100,000 bond.

Angel Sanchez charged in brutal New Year’s Eve assault of girlfriend

25-year-old Angel Sanchez is jailed in lieu of a $25,000 bond after police say he strangled his girlfriend, Yasmin Rivera, in an Uber and then, after they got home, reportedly headbutted her, dragged her across the floor, and strangled her again. The victim says the fight began at a bar but didn’t turn physical until they were in the rideshare vehicle on their way home. During the ride, she says he pulled her into his forehead and placed his hands around her neck until she had difficulty breathing. Once at home, she grabbed her dog for comfort, and Sanchez grabbed her and dragged her across the floor before getting on top of her and placing both hands around her neck once again. The victim says she was losing consciousness but was able to scream loud enough for a neighbor to come to her rescue. Officers documented multiple injuries to the victim.

23-year-old Anthony Joseph Rizzo was pulled over by Belle Meade Police Officer Hayley Doty for displaying expired tags/registration at 3:14 a.m. on January 1st. 53-year-old Joe Killingsworth was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail this week on an outstanding warrant charging him with domestic assault. His wife, Sharon Renee Killingsworth, stated that on December 22, Joe told her he wanted a divorce and began taking some belonging that belonged to her. She was attempting not to argue but told him he had no right to take her things. She says he attempted to remove her from the couch and threw a coffee mug, striking her in the head, which left a mark observed by police. He fled the scene before officers arrived, and a warrant was issued for his arrest.

Bryce Denton charged with stalking ex-girlfriend, tossing things from balcony

25-year-old Bryce Denton was jailed this week on an outstanding warrant charging him with stalking. His ex-girlfriend, Rebekah Fox, says that in May 2021, she found flowers on her doorstep with a note signed by Bryce, and later that night, he knocked on her door, but she didn’t let him in. She continued to have him blocked on all known numbers and social media accounts, yet he continued to find ways to contact her via new profiles on TikTok, Instagram, and Twitter, where he referend her place of work with her photo. In December 2021, the victim received a call from her property management informing her that her belongings were scattered about a common area of the complex. It was discovered Bryce left a note after he tossed her things from her balcony.

Police say 26-year-old Eric Hunter Edwards pushed an air-conditioner unit into the apartment of his ex-girlfriend, who was inside, then he crawled through the opening, stood up, and exclaimed, “You ghosted me!” His ex-girlfriend, Averie Porter, says he refused to leave, and she called 911. As she was placing the call, Hunter reportedly called her “retarded” She was able to record him breaking through the opening and showed the video to officers. Police say 67-year-old Beverly Cosgrove was involved in a single-vehicle crash at the intersection of Matilda St. & Marydale Dr., where she ended up stuck in a steep ditch. Collin Thomas charged with violating order of protection

Cathryn Thomas called police on January 1, stating her husband, 48-year-old Collin Thomas, was in their home and in violation of an order of protection. Officers arrived and verified he was served with the order on Christmas Day. After he was initially served, he moved out and stayed with Cathryn’s mother, but she let him return home on December 27, and he did. She says she revoked that permission on December 29 and demanded he leaves, which he reportedly refused.

Anthony Giglio stabs his girlfriend’s tire when she tries to leave him

Police say 42-year-old Anthony Giglio threw the phone of his girlfriend, Petra Bouije, against a wall and used a kitchen knife to stab the tire of her vehicle Tuesday afternoon. Petra says she went to her boyfriend’s home to pack up her belongings, and he began to yell at her and took the phone from her hands, and threw it against the wall. When she went to retrieve her phone, he reportedly got between her and the door and refused to let her leave the residents. She escaped out the back door of the home, and as she came around the corner, she witnessed him using a kitchen knife to stab her tire. 21-year-old Alliyah Wright told police she only had “a mixed drink” at a Bell Road bar several hours prior to being stopped for weaving while driving just after 1 a.m. on January 1st on Smith Springs Road. Officers say they initiated a traffic stop after she crossed into the center lane multiple times and went from fast to slow speeds. She was reportedly confused and reeked of alcohol. After performing poorly on field sobriety tests, Wright was transported to booking and charged with DUI.

25-year-old Paulo Palrao was kicked out of Lucky’s Bar on Broadway in downtown Nashville early Saturday morning after staff said he became disorderly inside the bar and to other patrons. Once outside the bar, he continued to fight with bouncers due to his belief he was mistreated while being escorted out of the bar. An officer wrote, “it was evident due to the suspect’s undiminished agitation that his behavior was likely to continue.”
