An off-duty detective with Metro Nashville Police observed 21-year-old Matthew Hugg strike the gate to the parking garage at 9 City Place late Saturday night and several pillars and parked cars within the garage. Officers made contact with Hugg, who reeked of alcohol, and observed heavy damage to both the front and rear of the vehicle. Inside the second story of the garage, officers located his bumper, headlines, a wiring harness, and paint chips strewn along the driving path. It appeared he struck several pillars before reaching the gate. Hugg performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was transported to booking, charged with DUI.

Kari Baker too drunk for downtown Nashville, cursed at officers trying to help her
28-year-old Kari Baker was stumbling and falling onto the roadway in downtown Nashville late Saturday night as officers approached her to check on her welfare. As they attempted to assist her, Baker became disorderly, argumentative, and cursed at officers. She had urinated on herself in public and reeked of alcohol. She was advised to go home for the evening but refused. She was taken into custody and charged with public intoxication.
Zachary England jailed after puffing his chest and fighting with girlfriend on Broadway
31-year-old Zachary England was having a drunken argument with his girlfriend in front of Broadway Brewhouse in downtown Nashville late Saturday night when officers observed his level of intoxication. As a random citizen told him to “calm down,” he turned toward him and puffed out his chest while taking a fighting stance. Officers took England into custody, charging him with public intoxication.
“Amish Aric” Dennison tells police: “I’m really f*-king drunk!”
23-year-old “Amish Aric” Dennison became belligerent with security staff at Honky Tonk Central late Saturday night and attempted to assault an employee. Metro Nashville Police responded to the bar, and Dennison stated he “drank way too much” and he was “really fucking drunk!” He was taken into custody and charged with public intoxication.
Jonathan Levy trashed by a trashcan on Broadway in downtown Nashville
30-year-old Jonathan was on the ground outside of the Levy Lucky Bastard Saloon in the early hours of Sunday morning, lying beside a trashcan. Officers stopped to check on his welfare, and he stated he was too drunk to get up. A medic ATV arrived to transport him to the staging area at 1st & Broadway to get him into an ambulance; however, he became combative and belligerent, so the transport was refused, and he was taken into custody for public intoxication.
DUI: Katherine Eller says she drank wine before crashing and blowing double the BAC limit
In the early hours of Sunday morning, police responded to a single-vehicle crash at Shelby Ave & S. 11th Street and located the driver, 40-year-old Katherine Eller, who had struck a tree. Eller told officers she was looking at her cell phone at the time of impact. She stated she had “split a bottle of wine” with a friend three hours prior to driving. She performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was unable to provide proof of insurance. She was transported to jail and initially blew a 0.163% BAC on a breathalyzer.
Virginia Belser blows 0.203% BAC after drinking Topo-Chico seltzers & driving
21-year-old Virginia Belser crashed her vehicle on Hwy 100 just after 5 a.m. Saturday and showed signs of impairment as officers responded to the scene. A can of beer was in her vehicle, and she admitted to having “a few” alcoholic drinks before driving — when asked to clarify “a few,” she responded it was 3-4 cans of Topo-Chico Hard Seltzer. She performed poorly on field sobriety tests and later blew a 0.203% BAC on a breathalyzer. A search of the vehicle revealed an open can of Topo Chico and a 12-pack of the drinks with several cans missing.
DUI: Karlisa Jefferson says “I’m f*-cked up” after drinking “a lot” before driving
30-year-old Karlisa Jefferson told officers she was driving the vehicle that was now crashed beside her on Rosedale Avenue, and she was “f-*ked up.” Karlisa further stated that had “a lot to drink.” She performed poorly on field sobriety tests and later blew a 0.271% BAC on a breathalyzer.
DUI: Aaron Heschong crashes into wall after leaving Uptown Bar
Metro Nashville Police responded to a car blocking a travel lane on Old Hickory Blvd at 2:22 a.m. Sunday. Officers found the vehicle wrecked and empty when they arrived. The driver, 39-year-old Aaron Heschong, stated after the crash, he had accepted a ride from a stranger, which he accepted and left the scene. He called a towing company and his insurance company and eventually walked back to the scene to sign for the towing of his vehicle, at which time police detained him. He admitted to being at the Uptown Bar at 1:30 a.m. and was driving back home when he hit a retaining wall. He was charged with driving under the influence, leaving the scene of an accident, and was transported to booking.
Mille Baker kicks hole through ex-boyfriend’s window to scream at him through it
24-year-old Millennium “Millie” Baker reportedly arrived at the Antioch home of her ex-boyfriend, Kedron Harper, in June and banged on his door until he told her to leave the property as he was not wanting to have an argument with her as he was spending time with his new girlfriend. At 5:45 a.m. the next morning, she returned to the home and kicked through the front window of the residence, and began to talk through the hole in the window. After she said her peace, she went to the parking lot and stole the license plates from the vehicles of her ex-boyfriend and his new girlfriend and slashed the tires of both vehicles.
Emilio Pacheco, 18, found extremely intoxicated at Antioch trailer park
18-year-old Emilio Pacheco showed signs of extreme intoxication when officers encountered him at an Antioch trailer home park on January 9th. The property owner asked him to leave and contacted the police when he refused. Pacheco became argumentative and combative, and despite his behavior, was given multiple chances to find a ride home, contact his father, or even let an officer drive him home. He refused all options and refused to leave the property. He was taken into custody and charged with underage drinking and disorderly conduct.
Dustin Duley charged after pulling another man’s hair, punching him in the face
25-year-old Dustin William Duley was jailed last week after Michael Page says he yanked on his hair so hard it “cracked his neck” while they two were in a vehicle in Goodlettsville. Upon returning to the Autumn Chase apartments, Page says Dustin punched him in the face.
Hannah Shapourian left Kenny Chesney concert to buy drugs at J.C. Napier with mom’s money
27-year-old Hannah Shapourian was booked this week on an outstanding warrant charging her with theft. She was at a Kenny Chesney Concert with her mother in May when she suddenly left in the middle of the concert and took her mother’s debit card without permission. She traveled to J.C. Napier after withdrawing $505 from her mother’s bank account. She bought drugs from someone in the projects and brought the car back to the parking lot of Nissan Stadium, picked up her mother, and they drove home.
Palwan Sadeq & Mardan Sadeq charged after vending from hot dog stand on private property downtown
28-year-old Palwan Sadeq & 30-year-old Mardan Sadeq were vending from their hot dog cart on November 27th at the Hilton on 4th Ave in downtown Nashville when they were approached by Metro Nashville Police, who say they were warned the night before that this was private property and vending wasn’t allowed in this area. Both were issued citations for criminal trespass and were booked on the charges this week.
Victor Henriquez drunk on Broadway with no way home
35-year-old Victor Henriquez was near Jason Aldean’s bar on Broadway in downtown Nashville when officers working the Entertainment District Initiative observed him stumbling and acting belligerent, attempting to fight other citizens. He was unable to recall where he was staying and did not have a phone to call anyone to assist him. He was taken into custody and charged with public intoxication.
Alexis Skerrett jailed after breaking into bedroom of a former lover
Police say 19-year-old Alexis Skerrett broke into the bedroom of her former lover, Autumn Jones, with who she also lives. Jones stated she had set up a security camera in her bedroom a few days prior, to make sure Alexis didn’t take any of her property while she was gone for a few days. While she was away, she received an alert on her phone that someone had entered the bedroom, and the video shows Alexis standing in the hallway through the now open door, along with two other people. The video then goes black. Skerrett was charged with criminal trespass and jailed on the charge.
DUI: Ivy Searles found reclined & asleep behind the wheel of a running car in West Nashville
Metro Nashville Police came upon a vehicle parked and running at Charlotte Ave & 48th at 2:13 a.m. Thursday, with 24-year-old Ivy Searles asleep inside, reclined in the driver’s seat. Officers knocked on the window, and she eventually woke up and rolled down her window. Officers say they immediately smelled alcohol coming from her breath. Searles stated she had dinner and a martini at the Hawthorne restaurant, about a block away, at 7:30 p.m. and then walked to Otto’s bar for another martini after dinner. She performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was transported to booking, charged with DUI.
DUI: Michael “Chili Dawg” Castleberry charged after historic Tootsie’s beer-chugging performance
After 23-year-old Micheal “Chili Dog” Castleberry amazed a crowd at Tootsie’s Wednesday night and after his set when to a parking garage to retrieve his vehicle. As he pulled alongside Tootsie’s to load his equipment, he fell asleep behind the wheel while parked and running. Metro Nashville Police officers working the Entertainment District Initiative pulled behind him and woke him up with medical alongside. He claimed to have stopped drinking “two hours” prior to driving and claimed he was just sleeping while waiting on a friend. He performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was transported to booking, charged with driving under the influence.
Jamonica Lillard attacks Taco Bell manager with bear spray
20-year-old Jamonica Lillard attacked the manager of a Madison Taco Bell, Skylar Kistner Dison, with bear mace on November 10th. She initially came to the restaurant to confront one of the employees, but the manager met her at the front counter and told her to leave multiple times. Lillard refused to leave and unleashed multiple streams of the bear spray, indirectly hitting other employees with the side spray and mist. She fled the scene, and Nashville fire treated employees for the exposure. Lillard was booked on the outstanding assault warrant this week.
Dustyn Odiaga booked on outstanding warrants from Nashville and Idaho
23-year-old Dustyn Odiaga was jailed on multiple outstanding warrants this week when officers encountered him during a domestic call in Antioch. Officers ran his name and realized he had an outstanding warrant in Nashville for the domestic assault of his mother from September, and a felony warrant from Boise, Idaho, will full extradition. As he was being taken into custody, Dustyn attempted to flee and was taken to the ground by officers. He continued to resist, yell, scream, and clasp his hands together under his body. He was eventually transported to booking.
Jarrod Smith drunk and at the wrong hotel in Nashville
30-year-old Jarrod Smith was stumbling through the lobby of the DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Hotel Nashville Airport just after 10 p.m. Thursday, and staff alerted police when he could not stand on his own. He was extremely intoxicated and stated he had a room at the hotel. The front desk staff stated he was not a registered guest at this hotel and wanted him escorted off the property due to his state of intoxication. Officers attempted to find him alternative arrangements, but he was unable to contact anyone to pick him up, and he refused medical transportation. Smith was transported to booking and charged with public intoxication.
Deliria Hodges charged with vandalizing boyfriend’s car during breakup
Sean Jamison Martin says his 31-year-old ex-girlfriend, Deliria Tysha Hodges, kicked the rear bumper of his car two days before Christmas, upset because he had just ended their relationship. She caused damage to the vehicle that was less than $1,000, and a misdemeanor warrant was issued for her arrest. She was booked on that warrant on January 11.
Larry Dorsey charged with illegal sale of alcohol from cigar lounge on Jefferson Street
38-year-old Larry Dorsey was booked on two outstanding citations this week from the Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission. TABC visited his Obsidian Cigar Lounge on Jefferson St in November. At that time, servers sold an undercover agent seven unopened bottles of liquor, and another sold an agent a Jack Daniels drink. Dorsey was charged with the unlawful sale of alcohol without a proper license and illegal storage of liquor for sale.
Pamela Truter admits to drinking prior to rolling her SUV on I-24
21-year-old Pamela Truter was in a crash on December 16, and responding officers located her leaning against a wall near her rolled-over Nissan Xterra SUV. She had to be transported to a hospital for her injuries, and she admitted to drinking prior to driving. Officers say she performed poorly on the field sobriety tests that were able to be conducted from a stretcher. Due to her hospitalization, she was issued a citation charging her with DUI, and she was booked on that citation this week.
Justin Taylor charged in theft of Chrysler Aspen
40-year-old Justin Taylor was found to be in possession of a stolen vehicle on Nolensville Pike after he pulled out in front of a patrol vehicle, nearly causing a wreck. After running the plate, officers realized it returned to a stolen vehicle and initiated a felony stop and arrest. Taylor claimed he was in the process of buying the truck from his boss but was unable to provide any paperwork, and the vehicle owner recovered the vehicle from the tow-in lot.
