Keion Smith charged with dragging his girlfriend by the hair, tearing out braids

Police say 24-year-old Keion Smith grabbed the mother of his child, Raven Scuggs, by her hair across the room and pulled out one of her braids. He then began to strike her in the head until she was bloody, according to an arrest warrant. The victim says Keion came home on January 26, heavily intoxicated, and requested the keys to her vehicle. He claimed to have found cigarettes in the vehicle, which he believed meant she was cheating on him. That’s when he re-entered their bedroom and began the assault. Their juvenile child witnessed the assault.

Nevaeh Knight goes on clothing rampage in H&M store at Opry Mills Mall

20-year-old Neveah Knight was inside the H&M store at the Opry Mills Mall on January 3rd when police say she became upset and went into a rage for an unknown reason. She was throwing clothes around inside the store and acting extremely disorderly. Staff asked her to leave the store, and she refused. Police responded to the store, and she was issued a citation for criminal trespass and escorted from the property. She was booked on that citation this week.

Sara Glover spits on husband Zachary Glover when he refuses to move out of the way

29-year-old Sara Amber Shipp Glover and 39-year-old husband Zachary Glover were jailed this week after police say spat in her husband’s face after he stopped on the stairs in front of her and would not move. Zachary admitted to restricting her movement on the staircase, preventing her from freely moving about the house. Police say this was not the first time they have responded to a domestic-related call at their residence.

In 2021, Zac Glover was previously charged with domestic assault after admitting to pushing an apple smoothie into the face of his wife, Sara Amber, during an argument on a Monday morning. She threw the cup back at him, but not before the smoothie mixture had covered her face, body, floor, and walls.

Shondarrius Cook charged with DUI after drinking in downtown Nashville

30-year-old Shondarrius Cook says he drank Moët & Chandon, Dom Pérignon, and had a shot of tequila in downtown Nashville late Saturday night before as he blew through an intersection, nearly hitting a Metro Nashville Police patrol car that was at the intersection. As he slammed on his brakes, Cook was rear-ended by another vehicle. Cook attempted to drive away from the scene until the officer activated his siren. The vehicle reportedly reeked of marijuana, and Cook was confused about the interaction with police and had trouble forming complete and coherent phrases. He did advise he was coming from downtown, and officers noted a red stamp from a club was on his hand. He performed poorly on field sobriety tests, and when he learned he was going to be taken into custody, he attempted to run, and it took additional officers to contain him. Officers also located a small amount of marijuana (3.8 grams) in the vehicle.

Kaya Crawford jumps from moving SUV to assault woman outside 3000 Bar in Nashville

24-year-old Kaya Crawford is charged with the assault of Timesha Douglas at 300 Bar Nashville during an incident on December 20. Police say the two parties were having a verbal disagreement on the sidewalk as they approached the disturbance. Crawford initially got into a white SUV, and Douglas walked along the sidewalk. As both continued on Demonbreun, Crawford jumped from the moving SUV and began to beat Douglas on the sidewalk. Sgt. Reese once again intervened between the two, and Crawford refused to listen to commands and pulled away to continue assaulting Douglas. She refused to cooperate when she was being placed under arrest and was charged with assault, disorderly conduct, and resisting arrest.

When she confronted him about the alleged affair at the Candlewood Suites in Goodlettsville, she says he slapped her in the face. She retaliated by smashing him across the head with a glass liquor bottle, leaving him with a significant gash. Police responded to the location, and the primary aggressor could not be determined, so both were taken into custody and charged with domestic assault. The question of his rainbow rendezvous was not answered, and the couple bonded out to their Heidelburg, Mississippi, address.

Police say tourist Joseph Boyington assaulted his girlfriend & robbed her at Nashville hotel

33-year-old tourist Joseph Boyington stayed at the Sheraton Hotel in downtown Nashville this week with his girlfriend, Chelsea Matthews Dyer. The couple was enjoying Broadway Monday night when an argument erupted, and Chelsea returned to the hotel and checked into a new separate room. Later in the evening, after Boyington returned to the hotel, she eventually provided him with her new room number, and he visited her on the 23rd floor. She says he grabbed her by the throat and pushed her against a wall, and then took her cell phone and fled the room. She found him on the 3rd floor and encountered him about taking her phone, and he then reportedly threw her against a wall again, and he fled the hotel. Officers documented marks and injuries on the victim and took Boyington into custody.

Latasha Petty assaulted her son while he was on Facetime with his girlfriend, who called 911

Dinerio Morton was on Facetime with his girlfriend on January 20th when his mother, 44-year-old Latasha Petty, reportedly pulled his hair, threatened him, grabbed him by the collar, and threw his phone to the ground causing damage to it. The girlfriend witnessed the assault in real-time via Facetime and called the police. Officers arrived and spoke with Dinerios’s older brother, Demetrius, who confirmed their mom was the primary aggressor. Police have multiple prior calls to the address where Petty was also the aggressor. Video of the assault was saved.

Police say 31-year-old Southwest Airlines flight attendant Ryan Rounsaville was walking up and down Arthur Ave in the early hours of Saturday morning, banging on multiple doors and kicking them while screaming. Police received multiple calls that were initially believed to be attempted burglaries. Officers located Rounsaville and determined he was extremely intoxicated as he stumbled down the street. Rounsville believed he was in Arlington, Texas, and was transported to booking, charged with public intoxication.

51-year-old Stacie LeBeau Gibson is charged with the brutal assault of her adult daughter inside a downtown Nashville hotel room late Saturday evening. Caylie Gibson called 911 from the DoubleTree hotel to report she was being assaulted by her mother, who was punching her at the time of the call; the dispatcher confirmed the commotion. Stacie bit her daughter’s fingers and ripped her hair out. Officers arrived to find multiple locks of the victim’s hair on the floor, visible bald spots on the victim’s head, a deep cup on her forehead, a cut to her left cheek, scratches on her neck, and bite marks on multiple fingers. 32-year-old Kaley Lee was jailed early Sunday morning in downtown Nashville after she pushed by police in an effort to get into an ambulance that was about to transport her sister. The two were outside of Legends Corner on Broadway in downtown Nashville when medics determined her sister needed to be transported and loaded her into an ambulance. Lee was adamant about riding in the ambulance with her sister, but Nashville Fire medics denied her request. She screamed for officers to “Let go of me!” as she attempted to be with her sister, and they took her into custody and booked her into the jail with an eight-hour hold for public intoxication.

32-year-old Mark Northrup was reportedly making a woman uncomfortable at Honky Tonk Central on Broadway in downtown Nashville early Sunday morning. She alerted a security guard, who asked Northrup to leave the bar. The bouncer, Mark Thomas, says Northrup chest-bumped him before he escorted him to the door. Near the exit, Northup fell to the floor and grabbed the bouncer’s leg. Police were nearby and observed Northrup to be heavily intoxicated. He was charged with assault and public intoxication.

Police say 24-year-old Charles Young of Oklahoma was either asleep or unconscious when they located him crashed out in a woodline along I-65 N at mile marker 75 in the early hours of Sunday morning. He reportedly reeked of alcohol as they assisted him from the driver’s seat of the white SUV. When asked where he was going, he stated, “to Franklin.” When asked where he was coming from, he stated, “8000 Mabel”, which is a street in Franklin. When asked if he had any alcohol to drink, he stated, “8000 Mabel.” When asked how many drinks he had tonight, he finally requested a lawyer, which was also his response when asked to conduct field sobriety tests and take a breathalyzer or blood test.

In the early hours of Saturday morning, just after last call, 38-year-old Chelsea Bailey appeared at the lobby of the Holiday Inn Express in downtown Nashville. She insisted she had a room there and needed to get to it. She became quite disorderly in her drunk state, and security eventually assisted her as she became extremely loud and disruptive when the front desk staff informed her she was not registered at the hotel. She was unable to provide the name of anyone she may be staying with and was eventually asked to leave the property, which she refused. Metro Nashville Police officers arrived, and she named the Hyatt and various other hotels when asked where she was staying at during her trip to Nashville. She continued to be disruptive and unable to assist herself in avoiding jail.

Ja’Korey Hunter charged with assault of woman at gay bar in Nashville; she punches him in face

21-year-old Ja’Korey Hunter was at Play Dance Bar at 2 a.m. Saturday when police say he sexually assaulted Brittanee Anderson. According to witnesses and video of the incident, Hunter walked up behind the victim, who was dancing with her friend, Kolton Dixon. He then reportedly put his arms around her waist and then placed his hand up her dress, touching her genital area and fondling her. She immediately confronts Hunter and punches him in the face.
