Randal Young charged in strangulation of girlfriend during Nashville Trip at Moxy Hotel

57-year-old Randal Scot Young is charged with the aggravated assault and strangulation of his girlfriend, Andrea Boucher, during their trip to Nashville this weekend. Metro Nashville Police responded to the Moxy Motel late Friday night and spoke with Andrea, who stated the couple had been out drinking on Broadway in the Entertainment District downtown. As they returned to their hotel room for the evening an argument began and she says Randal placed both hands around her next and strangled her for several seconds until she had difficulty breathing. She bites him during the struggle in an attempt to break free, and when officers arrived, she has bruising around her next and behind her ears, swelling and scratches on her arm, and blood in her mouth.

Tourist Peter Mackley charged with DUI on a Lime Scooter in Nashville

47-year-old tourist Peter Mackley of Saginaw, MI, was charged with DUI late Friday night as he drunkenly drove a Lime Scooter on a major thoroughfare in East Nashville. Mackley was scooting on Ellington Parkway near Spring Street when officers conducted a traffic stop. It was immediately apparent to police that Mackley was extremely intoxicated. Mackley admitted to drinking 9-10 drinks, culminating with a “strong” drunk shortly before the traffic stop. He performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was transported to booking.

Jeremiah Walker charged after Printers Alley assault and tussle with police

Metro Nashville Police say 35-year-old Jeremiah Walker assaulted a security guard in Printers Alley in downtown Nashville early Saturday morning. As they responded to the scene, the manager of the venue advised Walker was now standing outside of The Whiskey Shot. Officers located Walker, who was trying to leave the area in an Uber, and advised he was being detained as the suspect in an assault. Walker refused to cooperate, refused to move out of the road, and tussled with officers. He was eventually taken into custody and transported to booking.

Quentaja Ridley throws potted plant at boyfriend while he sits in his mother’s car

21-year-old Quentaja Denise Ridley is charged with felony aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and felony vandalism after she attacked the car her boyfriend was sitting in, which belonged to his mother. DeCarlos Allen was at his mother’s home with his girlfriend when the couple began to argue. To calm the situation, he went outside to sit in his mother’s blue 2022 Nissan Versa. Moments later, Quentaja came outside while kicking the screen door and thew a potted plant at her boyfriend, damaging the front driver’s side door of the vehicle. She then damaged the trunk with a rock. She fled before the police arrived, and a warrant was issued for her arrest.

Carrie Lierl goes wild at Nashville International Airport

31-year-old Caroline Suzanne Lierl was at the Nashville International Airport late Saturday night when employees observed her to be extremely intoxicated and contacted Airport police. Lierl claimed she was on a flight to Cincinnati at 7:17, but no such flight could be found, and she did not have a boarding pass. She was asked to leave the area and go about her evening; however, she refused and became a disturbance to airport operations. As officers took her into custody for public intoxication, Lierl kicked Officer Tomlin and Sgt. Berens multiple times and attempted to flee the scene to avoid arrest.

Cadyn Spruell blows stop sign, crashes Porsche into parked car after drinking downtown

29-year-old Cadyn Spruell told police she had been downtown drinking before she “blew through a stop sign” and crashed her 2017 Porsche into a parked vehicle late Sunday night in South Nashville. Officers arrived at the intersection of Foster Avenue and Peachtree Street and interviewed Spruell, who they noted to have a staggered walk, watery and bloodshot eyes, and a smell of alcohol about her. She performed poorly on field sobriety tests and would later blow a 0.201% BAC on a breathalyzer.

Dayvion Holloway charged: fighting while high in public

Goodlettsville Police say they responded to a fight in progress at a gas station and located 21-year-old Dayvion Holloway as one of the involved parties. While speaking with Holloway, they observed him to be “highly intoxicated.” He refused to cooperate with officers and became aggressive. Holloway was then taken into custody for public intoxication, and a search incident to arrest resulted in him also being charged with the 21.8 grams of marijuana found in his left front pocket.

Anthony Assi pulls pistol on roommate, threatens to kill him over rent money in “slight disagreement”

41-year-old Anthony J. Assi is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after his roommate, Nicolas Renier, says Assi pulled a pistol and threatened to shoot him on November 10th during a disagreement in their garage. Renier says the two were in a “slight disagreement” over money, and he asked Assi to return his $1,400 rent payment, but he would only agree to return $700. Assi went inside the house as if to retrieve the money but returned with a pistol and pointed it directly at Renier, threatening to shoot him. Police arrived and Assi admitted to the felony aggravated assault.

Isaac Jameson busted in underage drunken & drug-induced rampage in downtown Nashville

20-year-old Isaac Jameson faces multiple charges after Metro Nashville Police say admitted to being “on drugs” in addition to underage drinking while in downtown Nashville. Jameson was initially observed stumbling on Broadway when a bouncer from a nearby club advised Jameson was pushing other citizens and accusing one of taking his money.

Jameson attempted to enter multiple downtown bars and was successfully blocked by security until he reached Second Fiddle Saloon, where he was able to push past security and enter the bar area, which is where police caught up with him as he was in a physical fight with bouncers. Body camera footage shows him yelling “f*/k you!” to police as he attempts to pull away from them. He was transported to Metro General for medical clearance, where he continued to resist personnel, and then transported to booking.

Franklin Boykins charged with stolen gun & marijuana after BNA traffic stop

Nashville Airport Police say they observed a tan Plymouth Neon traveling at a high rate of speed with window tint darker than Tennessee law allows. A traffic stop was initiated on the vehicle driven by Hakeem Turnipseed, which revealed 19-year-old Frankin “Big Frank” Boykins was in the passenger seat. Both of the men had identification from the state of Mississippi. Turnipseed told officers he had to urinate, and that was the reason for the high speed. Officers reportedly smelled marijuana, and Boykins handed over a blunt and stated he had a backpack with more marijuana inside. A search of the car and Boykins’s backpack revealed a stolen handgun and 1 oz of marijuana.

Let’s set the scene: Claude Hudgens and Jamella Garrett live together in an apartment in Madison. Joy Newman previously lived in the apartment with them. Claude and Joy were previously in a dating relationship. On November 7th, police responded to the apartment after Jamella stated she heard a loud noise at the door, and Claude opened it. 25-year-old Joy Newman pushed her way into the apartment while Claude attempted to restrain her from moving toward Jamella. Joy made her way to the kitchen, where she armed herself with a large kitchen knife for a short time before Claude disarmed her. Joy then got in Jamella’s face while screaming she wanted “her blood!”

Jerome Dooley charged in aggravated assault of his girlfriend using his car; flees while cuffed

24-year-old Jerome Dooley is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after he followed his girlfriend, Yani Gardley, and began striking her vehicle with his after the two got into an argument at Kroger on Nolensville Pike. He was reportedly upset over a key she had to his apartment. Officers observed damage to the victim’s car and detained Dooley, and handcuffed him, but he then fled the scene while cuffed. He was located a short time later and taken into custody, once again.

Woman says husband, Tyler Meadows, threw her “around like a rag doll” in Nashville hotel

A hotel guest contacted Metro Nashville Police after hearing a physical fight in a nearby hotel room and knocked on the door. Officers arrived to find 38-year-old Tyler Justin Meadows, now outside of the hotel room, and his wife, Britney Meadows, was inside the room. Britney stated today was the first day Tyler put his hands on her but referenced a prior assault in their home state of Alabama. Britney had multiple bruises on her armed and legs, consistent with being grabbed, pushed, and impacting sites around the room. She was also bleeding from her foot and had bruising on her face. She stated her husband “threw her around like a rag doll” inside the hotel room. Tyler admitted to hitting and assaulting his wife after he was taken into custody. He was transported to jail, while she was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

John White drunk and disorderly at Nashville Airport, shouting about NFL teams

47-year-old John White was charged with public intoxication at the Nashville International Airport on November 6th at 5:30 a.m. after airport police were dispatched to the SouthWest ticket counter, where he was shouting profanities and yelling at multiple other customers. As officers arrived, White was shouting about NFL teams and smelled strongly of alcohol. It was determined that White did not even have a ticket to fly out on SouthWest. Officers attempted to get White a taxi, but he became increasingly agitated with officers. He was given a final choice to leave the property in a rideshare or go to jail. White was booked and charged with public intoxication.

Charles Harville charged in assault of juvenile on Halloween

25-year-old Charles Austin Harville was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail Tuesday on outstanding warrants charging him with the Halloween assault of a juvenile victim, his girlfriend’s sister. The victim was in her room talking to a friend when she said Harville entered the room, demanding to know who she was speaking to, then took her phone and broke it. He reportedly “bucked up” to the victim before shoving her. She fell from the impact and suffered a bruise on her right shoulder and neck. A few moments later, Harville reportedly attacked her a second time while she was on the floor. Witnesses say he came up behind her and placed his arms around her neck in an attempt to strangle her. Harville fled the apartment before police could arrive, so warrants were issued for his arrest.

Adam Wilson flees after DUI crash in East Nashville

Police say 37-year-old Adam Wilson crashed into another vehicle in East Nashville late Sunday night and then fled south on Gallatin Pike. Wilson was driving a Toyota Tacoma and had lost a tire and was dragging debris as he sped away from the accident scene. Eight minutes later, a citizen reported the Tacoma on his street, kicking up sparks as it hobbled along West Greenwood Avenue. The citizen observed Wilson get out of the truck and detained him until police arrived moments later. Wilson reeked of alcohol, and there was a half-drank can of beer in the center console.

Tourist Whitney Busse charged in assault of her boyfriend during Nashville trip

43-year-old Whitney Ann Busse is charged with the domestic assault of her boyfriend, Ryan Langwald, during their trip to Nashville this week. Metro Nashville Police responded to the Drury Inn in downtown Nashville to find Ryan injured, and he explained the couple was in a verbal argument which escalated when he attempted to leave the location to de-escalate the situation. He says as he attempted to leave, Whitney blocked the door and pushed him into the deadbolt, causing a cut on his arm when he attempted to reach around her to open the door. Whitney says he was just trying to leave to go party, and she didn’t want him to miss his work meeting the next morning.
