Keonza Scales pulls gun on mother, makes threats while pointing it in her face

Witnesses say 19-year-old Keonza Scales pointed a handgun at his mother’s face and stated, “b*/ch, get back,” during a family argument. The incident began when Keonza’s 16-year-old brother was in an argument with their mother, Ivary Scales, and Keonza riled up his brother, antagonizing the situation, and causing the juvenile’s behavior to worse. The juvenile then pulled a gun, which belonged to his mother, and was quickly disarmed by his mother and a witness, and Keonza was told to secure the handgun. Instead, he pointed the handgun at his mother’s face while making threats. He was not present when police arrived, but a warrant was issued for his arrest. He was booked on that warrant this week.

Jeffrey Gingrich charged in assault of ex-boyfriend as he gets on top and punches him

54-year-old Jeffrey Gingrich is charged with punching his former lover, Charlton Hollars, in the face and their shared residence Wednesday evening. Mr. Hollars says he was sitting on the couch when Gingrich approached him aggressively with his chest puffed out and punched him out, causing him to fall to the ground. He says Gingrich then got on top of him and continued to face-punch him multiple times. Officers observed multiple bruises and marks on the victim consistent with the assault.

Martez Bell assaults girlfriend, shows her where he plans to kill her, breaks her arm while shoving her in trunk

This isn’t a scene from a movie, but it could be. Police say 37-year-old Martez Bell was riding in his car on River Road with his girlfriend, Brittany Garrett. They two were having a disagreement when he grabbed her throat to strangle her while repeating that he was going to kill her. He then pulled onto a side road and stated this was where she was going to die. He stopped the car and pulled her out of the vehicle, and ordered her into the trunk.

She resisted and refused and was able to get back inside the car and lock him out. As she fled in the car, Bell jumped onto the hood. Brittany instinctively stomped the brakes, causing Bell to fall off the vehicle, allowing her to flee the scene and call 911. She suffered a broken arm as a result of Bell attempting to force her into the trunk.

Jordan Lewis busted using fake identity to rent a car at Nashville Airport

23-year-old Jordan Kyle Lewis faces multiple charges after he attempted to rent a car at the Enterprise counter at the Nashville International Airport on November 13th. His Georgia identification, which listed him as ‘John Head’ was not verified as valid in their system, so they called Airport Police to verify it was valid. The clerk mentioned to him that officers were on the way to ensure it was good, and he fled the airport.

But wait, there’s more. Two hours later, Lewis returned to the airport in different clothing and appeared at the National counter for a second attempt to rent a car using his real information this time. The fake Georgia ID was found in his backpack. He is charged with felony forgery, felony criminal simulation, and criminal impersonation.

Bryant Reynolds charged with DUI after Crown Royal Crash in Madison

23-year-old Bryant Reynolds wrecked his gray Nissan Altima into a large ditch Monday evening in Madison, and officers responded to the scene after a passerby called in the accident. As they approached, Reynolds exited his vehicle and stated he needed a tow truck, as he was driving and he just “ended up there,” but he wasn’t sure how it happened. Offices report Reynolds was obviously intoxicated and observed an open container of a Crown Royal mixed drink, along with additional cans in the vehicle. He admitted to having “several mixed drinks and two shots of Crown Royal” a few hours before driving. He was transported to booking and charged with DUI. He blew a 0.122% BAC on a breathalyzer.

Jermaine Darden charged in assault and total destruction of apartment & contents

Police arrived at the apartment of 41-year-old Jermaine Darden and KeAsia Nance to find two TVs thrown over the balcony and destroyed on the ground below, a hole in the wall of the apartment, most of the furniture completely destroyed, clothes torn and covering the apartment, appliances and pictures destroyed throughout, and the washer and dryer turned over on their fronts. Officers initially met with Nance, who had a bruise on her cheek, a bruised eye, and a cut across her face. She explained she and Darden had been arguing earlier, and she had left to “cool off.” She returned to the entirety of the residence being destroyed. She demanded he clean up the mess, and he refused. As she called 911 to report the vandalism, she says Darden came at her multiple times, eventually snatching the phone from her hands and destroying it, too.

Terrance Hudson charged in assault of girlfriend after turning off her shower “to talk”

30-year-old Terrance Hudson is charged with the aggravated domestic assault/strangulation of his current girlfriend, Antwyneque Golliday. Police responded to their shared apartment on November 12th after the victim reported she was in the shower as Mr. Hudson repeatedly turned the water off in an attempt “to talk.” The victim exited the shower and attempted to get dressed when she says he shoved her and pushed her against the bathroom wall, and continued to argue. She says she broke free of his grip and attempted to get dressed in her bedroom when he followed her into the closet and strangled her with both hands. She escaped that assault and later laid down on the bed to rest when she says Hudson again got on top of her and strangled her.

She then fled the apartment with him giving chase to her, and when he caught up with her, she says he punched her in the face and the back of her head. As she was able to call 911, Hudson returned to the apartment. At the time of his arrest, Hudson had an outstanding warrant from March, which alleges he “destroyed a phone with his fist” while violating an order of protection at the home of the mother of his child.

DUI: John Bostwick says he just left Red Door Saloon but didn’t drink anything; BAC disagrees

Police say 24-year-old John A. Bostwick was traveling 83 mph in a 40 mph zone at 1:46 a.m. Wednesday on Harding Pike. Officer Haley Doty initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle, driven by Bostwick, and noted the immediate smell of alcohol. Bostwick stated he was coming from the Red Door Saloon but denied drinking any alcohol while he was there. He performed poorly on field sobriety tests and blew a 0.12% BAC on a breathalyzer. He was transported to booking and charged with DUI.

Micheala DeLeyer found passed out, so drunk she didn’t know her own name in Nashville

28-year-old Michaela DeLeyer was reported as unconscious in the hallway of the Carillon Apartments at 3 a.m. Wednesday. Officers arrived to find her in an extreme level of intoxication, and she did know her own name. She reeked of alcohol and had urinated on herself. Once she realized she was loaded into an ambulance to receive medical treatment, she refused all medical assistance. Unable to be left in her current state, she was transported to booking and charged with public intoxication.

Nicole Presta charged after pulling knife on boyfriend & making threats

Richard Keymon says he returned to their apartment late Tuesday to find his 34-year-old girlfriend, Nicole Presta, in a closet with a gun to her head. After disarming her and giving the firearm to her roommates, Amanda Isenhaur and Zachary Dubois, he says she then armed herself with a butcher knife from the kitchen and threatened to stab Keymon, stating, “I’m gonna stab you, I’m gonna stab me.” She was also disarmed of the butcher knife. The gun and knife were collected as evidence, and Presta was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

Drunk downtown tourist Thomas Noble believes he’s in 2023 Las Vegas

37-year-old Thomas Noble was staying at the Double Tree Hotel in downtown Nashville Tuesday night. The hotel he returned to after a night of downtown drinking, however, was the Omni Hotel, just south of Broadway and about a 15-minute walk away. Hotel staff says Noble had been at their hotel lobby for “several hours,” during which they kept attempting to return him to his proper hotel. They eventually arranged for a taxi to take him to the Double Tree, but when it arrived, he refused to get inside. Police eventually had to be called and say Noble was extremely intoxicated and believed it was 2023 and that he was in Nevada. He was transported to booking and charged with public intoxication.

28-year-old Tristan Nicole Rowell approached Metro Nashville Police Officers who were assisting another citizen with a minor facial injury at Kid Rock’s bar in downtown Nashville early Sunday morning. She was shouting at officers and causing a disturbance to the general public and other patrons. She was extremely intoxicated, and when officers attempted to de-escalate the situation, she continued to scream at them, then used her hands to push Officer Yore in the chest.

Police found 26-year-old Nathaniel Cole Rico asleep behind the wheel of his silver Scion in the early hours of Sunday morning at the intersection of McGavock Pike and Pennington Centre Blvd. Officers arrived and attempted to wake Rico, who initially refused. Eventually, he exited the vehicle, revealing a strong smell of alcohol coming from him. He admitted to drinking “3 or 4 beers” at a bar prior to driving and performed poorly on field sobriety tests. DUI: Steven O’Daniel tosses Deep Eddy Lemon Vodka out window after crash

28-year-old Steven O’Daniel was involved in a traffic accident on November 11th on I-65 near the Rosa Parks overpass. A witness told police that O’Daniel tossed a bottle of alcohol out of his vehicle and into the grass alongside the interstate. Officers located a bottle of Deep Eddy Lemon Vodka that had been discarded. O’Daniel admitted he “might of” had a shot before leaving work just before the crash. After performing horribly on field sobriety tests, O’Daniel stated it might have been “2 or 3 shots” at work and smoking marijuana prior to the crash.

Jasmine Clark, 28, charged in felony statutory rape of her alleged teenage lover

29-year-old Jasmine Clark is charged with the felony aggravated statutory rape of her alleged lover, a 17-year-old male victim. The age difference between the two is eleven years and 17 days. The victim says he met Jasmine in November 2021 and dated until February 2022, and had sexual relations approximately every other day. Witnesses confirmed the victim would sleep in the bedroom with Jasmine in the apartment they shared; however, Jasmine claims she made him sleep on the floor. Officers were made aware of the relationship when Jasmine completed a report with MNPD stating the two were in a relationship after she was transported to Skyline Hospital. She also claimed to believe he was 21 or 19 years old.

Taylor Warren assaults husband with birthday cake, a pistol, and her fists, per report

Police say 20-year-old Taylor Dawn Warren threw a birthday cake at her husband, Robert Wayne Warren, in a church parking lot, then punched him in the face and pulled a maroon handgun, and pistol-whipped him. She had met her husband, who was with his friend Samuel Mei, at the Church as she was upset that he went hunting early in the morning, and she had baked a cake for his birthday. When she assaulted him with the gun, he disarmed her, and Sammy held onto the gun and turned it over to officers who met Robert and Sam nearby after they fled the scene. Taylor met with officers and stated she was angry with her husband and admitted to the assault with the cake, but claimed the maroon gun was not hers.

Rodkia Edmonson jailed & boyfriend wanted for Buena Vista Brawl

27-year-old Rodkia’Lovely ‘Ke’ Edmonson and David Woodton are former lovers and share a child together. David is currently dating Coutaijaha Brooks. Also involved is Rodkia’s current boyfriend, who is currently unnamed and at large. David and Coutaijaha were at their home when they saw Rodkia and her boyfriend arrive. Not wanting a confrontation, they went to the nearby Taco Bell for food, and the defendants followed them. In the parking lot of the Taco Bell, they say Rodkia’s boyfriend opened the car door and threatened to shoot them.

The couple also followed them back to their home, where they say Rodkia then brandished a handgun and threatened to kill David and Coutaijaha. Rodkia exited the vehicle and jumped up and down on the hood of the victim’s vehicle, which was also captured on video and observed by witnesses. Rodia denies most of the allegations and refused to go on the record when contacted by Scoop: Nashville. Officers took her into custody, charging her with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and felony vandalism. Her boyfriend remains at large.
