57-year-old John Gach, who was visiting Nashville from Connecticut, is charged with assault after he suddenly and without consent licked the hand of his server at the L.A. Jackson bar on the rooftop of the Thompson Hotel downtown. The victim, Crystal, told police she had come to the table where he was holding out his hand, and when she held out her hand while attempting to determine what he needed, he suddenly licked her. Gach says he doesn’t recall what happened; however, his wife stated that he likes to “joke around” and asked if they could apologize to the victim. Security had escorted him from the bar to his hotel room, which is where police charged him with assault.

DUI: Brittnye Denen charged after nearly colliding with MNPD patrol vehicle on I-65
Police say 35-year-old Brittnye Denen was driving on I-65 late Wednesday night when she swerved into a lane and almost collided with a marked MNPD patrol vehicle. The officer followed her for approximately one mile, and she continued to swerve and drive erratically. During a traffic stop, Denen admitted to drinking “a beer” prior to driving and performed poorly on field sobriety tests. Inside the vehicle, officers located a Yeti tumbler filled with beer in the center cup holder.
Juvenile Detention employee Marquaveon Gray faces child sex charges from a boy he met at the facility
24-year-old Marquaveon Darell Gray is charged with two counts of solicitation of a minor and displaying sex acts to a minor — a 16-year-old male who he met while working at the Rutherford County Juvenile Detention Center, where the victim was in the custody of the center. Officers recovered videos of Gray propositioning the victim, and displaying his own genitals to the victim during a Facetime call, to which the victim replied, “you got a shrimp!” (details may be graphic in story…)
Marcus Dillard jailed after driving over girlfriend with his Buick Encore
A neighbor reported to police that she observed 27-year-old Marcus Dillard strike his girlfriend, Toni Petties, in the face during an altercation and then drive over her with his vehicle as he fled the Madison Flats on October 10th. Police arrived as the victim was being transported to the hospital, so they followed her to Skyline to continue the interview. Petties explained she and Dillard were pushing and shoving each other as they arrived at the apartment complex, and things escalated as he threw her belonging out of the car. There was more pushing and shoving, and then as she was outside of the vehicle, he used the vehicle to run over her body. Officers documented bruising to her abdomen and scratches on her neck.
Silvia Miramontes charged after using Sharpie & scissors to destroy husband’s clothing
52-year-old Silvia Miramontes is charged with vandalism after cutting and using a Sharpie to destroy $300 worth of her husband’s clothing. Julio Hernandez told police the couple had an argument earlier, and after he was at work for the day, she cut and marked his clothes with a sharpie marker. Their 9-year-old daughter confirmed to police that her mother damaged her father’s clothes.
DUI: Michael Lelli found asleep behind the wheel on I-40
Metro Nashville Police responded to a vehicle parked on the side of I-40 in the early hours of Tuesday morning. Behind the wheel, officers observed 26-year-old Michael Lelli sleeping for a considerable amount of time before being able to wake him. Once awake, he reportedly stumped on his feet and reeked of alcohol, and performed poorly on field sobriety tests. Lelli admitted to consuming “one beer and two mixed drinks” prior to driving. He was charged with DUI 2nd and driving on a suspended license. He has a prior DUI conviction from 2017, according to police.
Jennifer Albrecht forces her way into neighbor’s apartment & assaults her
51-year-old Jennifer Albrecht is charged with felony aggravated burglary after police say she knocked on her downstairs neighbor’s door, forced her way inside, and assaulted the victim, Tyronda Jones. The victim was able to fight back, causing her to retreat to her own apartment. Her glasses were found inside the victim’s apartment, as Jones stated she had “knocked them off her head.”
Elder Eli Milla-Rodriguez admits to reselling marijuana & edibles during traffic stop
Police conducted a traffic stop on 18-year-old Elder Eli Milla-Rodriguez just after noon on Monday when he failed to stop fully at an Antioch stop sign. More interestingly to the officer watching was that he stopped at a driveway just before the stop sign, where a female was standing at the end of the driveway, to whom he sold marijuana through the passenger side window. As the traffic stop was conducted, the officer reportedly smelled marijuana, and Elder advised he had a firearm in the vehicle when told a search would be conducted. Officers found 30.4 grams of marijuana, a Glock 22 with a drum-style magazine. Elder told police he routinely buys marijuana and edibles by the ounce and resells them, and carries the firearm for protection.
Germel Caballes too drunk for downtown Nashville during son’s bachelor party
48-year-old Germel Caballes was lying on the sidewalk outside Rippy’s Honky in the early hours of Saturday morning when police encountered him and checked on his welfare due to his extreme level of intoxication. He refused medical assistance and then became verbally and physically hostile with officers and his son, who was with him as he was celebrating a bachelor weekend. Due to his inability to care for himself, he was charged with public intoxication.
Jacob Atwood charged after drunken fight at Kid Rock’s Bar in downtown Nashville
Metro Nashville Police Officers working the Entertainment District Initiative on Broadway in downtown Nashville in the early hours of Saturday morning were flagged down bouncers at Kid Rock’s Bar. Security staff advised they had detained 45-year-old Jacob Atwood, who was highly intoxicated and had been involved in a physical fight inside the venue. Atwood was transported to booking and charged with public intoxication.
Nina Davis jerks steering wheel from Lyft driver, causing a crash as she’s “having a meltdown”
Metro Nashville Police say Lyft passenger, 24-year-old Nina Davis, abruptly grabbed the steering wheel of the vehicle that was transporting her on I-24 and jolted it to the right causing it to crash into a median, totaling the vehicle. The driver, Andrew Moe, says she was “having a meltdown” just before the grabbed the wheel. After the crash, Nina Davis stood in a lane of the interstate attempting to be hit by a vehicle. Officers say she was highly intoxicated and transported her to Metro General for evaluation prior to being transported to booking. While at the hospital, she also picked up a disorderly conduct charge by yelling and screaming “provocative things” and causing a public disruption.
Marqueze Boyd jailed after fleeing a traffic stop in November
21-year-old Marqueze Boyd was booked Sunday on an outstanding warrant charging him with felony evading arrest with a motor vehicle. The charge stems from an attempted November traffic stop when Boyd was driving a white Dodge Charger with Reginald Harding as his passenger. Officers observed a fake temporary tag and erratic driving and were attempting to conduct a traffic stop when Boyd fled the scene as officers approached the vehicle.
Tourist from Ohio, William Brunnett, charged in assault of his wife during Nashville vacation
Metro Nashville Police officers working the Entertainment District Initiative Saturday night in downtown Nashville observed 63-year-old William Brunnett of Twinsburg, Ohio, wrap his hands around the back of his wife’s head while attempting to pull her down and away from Layla’s Honky Tonk. His wife, Laura Brunnett, attempted to push him off and away from her as officers approached the altercation and separated the parties. As officers were placing William into custody for domestic assault, he claimed he was having heat issues and possibly a heart attack. He was then transported to Metro General Hospital for clearance before being booked into jail.

26-year-old Michael Allen Lloyd was found late Sunday night standing in the middle of the offramp from Briley Parkway onto Lebanon Pike in an extreme state of intoxication. When officers responded to the initial call, he still remained in the same spot as first reported. Officers attempted to give him a ride back to his hotel, but he became verbally abusive and began to bang his head on the glass partition of the patrol car. He was then deemed to be too intoxicated to be left on his own and was placed under arrest and transported to booking.
Katherine Price too drunk for downtown Nashville #Arrested #PublicIntoxication
21-year-old Katherine Price was escorted out of the Ole Red bar in downtown Nashville late Saturday night by staff and Metro Nashville Police, after the venue decided she was too drunk to remain in the bar. As her friends attempted to walk her back to where they were staying, she refused and repeatedly attempted to go back inside the bar. She was offered medical transport to be evaluated and avoid jail, but she also refused that option. After a final time of refusing to let her friends get her home safely, Price was taken into custody and charged with public intoxication.
Tyler Blevins goes on rampage inside lover Christopher Roach’s Nashville townhome
Witnesses at the Vista Germantown called police after they observed 28-year-old Tyler Blevins forcing his way into a townhome at the location on October 8th. When officers arrived, they found Blevins outside on the sidewalk, arguing with the owner of the townhome, Christopher Roach. They two are in an intimate relationship, and Blevins was highly intoxicated, according to officers at the scene. Inside the home, Blevins reportedly destroyed multiple glass mugs and glass bottles of liquor. The rampage was reportedly over a set of house keys that were taken.
Wilfredo Lebron bites brother’s thigh & bicep, squeezes his genitals during latest argument
In the continued dispute between two brothers, 41-year-old Wilfredo Lebron is now on the other end of the situation and finds himself jailed – the same place his brother, Justin Lebron, was in just days ago. In today’s incident, Wilfredo came into the Sohano apartment and began to argue with Justin, lunging toward him twice, then biting him once on the left bicep and again on the left thigh. Justin says his brother then squeezed his b*lls and ripped a necklace from his neck.
Lamontez Blair charged with using vehicle to strike parking attendant, knocking her out of chair
23-year-old Lamontez Blair was booked this week after he admitted to driving a vehicle that struck a person sitting in a chair who denied him entry to a parking lot at Nissan Stadium. When the incident was initially reported, Janet Lemnell was working a special event at Nissan Stadium and told Blair he could not enter that particular lot. She says he intentionally backed up and struck her with his vehicle while she was sitting in a chair, knocking her out of it. She sustained minor injuries, and the incident was witnessed by APEX security officers at the location. She provided police with the tag number, which led to Blair. He initially denied driving the vehicle that day, but later called back and said he was driving but didn’t hit her intentionally.
April Keen: “He better not bond me out, or I’ll beat him again!”
38-year-old April Keen is charged with the domestic assault of her husband, Homer Keen. He says he was asleep in their room at the Red Roof Inn when she suddenly jumped on top of him, yelling and hitting him. Officers documented injuries to the victim’s face, nose, right eye, and blood around his left ear. April’s clothing was blood-covered, and she stated she didn’t know how it got there. During her transport to booking, she stated, “he better not come bond me out, or I will beat his ass again.”
Christina Johnson pours water on husband to wake him up to discuss their relationship
53-year-old Christina Beatrice Johnson is charged with the domestic assault of her husband, Augustine Odinukaeze. She reportedly believed he was cheating due to calls to his phone coming from different area codes, so while he was asleep in bed, she threw water on him to wake him up, so they could discuss the matter. He says he attempted to leave the room, but she blocked his way and smacked him in the face during the argument. She then reportedly threatened to shoot him.
Gayland Thompson charged in brutal strangulation of girlfriend in Antioch
28-year-old Gayland Thompson is charged with the aggravated assault/strangulation of his girlfriend, Ashleigh Dotson. She says Gayland became upset when he observed her get a ride to his apartment in a vehicle that he did not recognize. He demanded to search her phone, and she refused. Gayland then reportedly shoved her on top of a bed and sat on top of her while using his right hand to choke her until she couldn’t breathe for several seconds, demanding her phone the entire time. She eventually kicked him off the bed momentarily until he stood back up and punched her on the legs, chest, and arms, causing significant bruising and injuries. She sought treatment at the hospital; however, MNPD was unable to send any officers, causing her to return home to call to make a report, at which time a warrant was issued for his arrest.
Convention Attendee Casey Seibert found passed out drunk on sidewalk at 3 a.m. in downtown Nashville
In the early hours of Wednesday morning, shortly after last call, Metro Nashville Police observed 45-year-old Casey Seibert passed out at the intersection of 7th Ave S & McGavock Street in the middle of downtown Nashville. Officers were eventually able to wake the man, who was in town for the ScanSource Connect event, but he was uncooperative and refused to answer any questions. Due to his inability to care for himself, Seibert was transported to booking and charged with public intoxication.
Takiyah Thompson charged with DUI after late night crash on I-24
38-year-old Takiyah Thompson is charged with driving under the influence of an intoxicant after first responders pulled her from the driver’s seat of crashed white Nissan 300 just after 2 a.m. Sunday on I-24 East. She reportedly smelled of alcohol and admitted to consuming one drink earlier in the evening. She couldn’t remember how the accident occurred and performed poorly on the field sobriety tests that were able to be administered due to her being unable to stand without assistance. She declined medical assistance or transportation and was charged with DUI.
Francisco Sanchez charged in strangulation of girlfriend
Mirian Suyapa says she was having an argument with her boyfriend, 36-year-old Francisco Sanchez, outside of their home, and she went back inside to end the argument and laid down on her bed. A short time later, she says Sanchez burst into the bedroom and climbed on top of her, and placed both of his hands around her neck, applying pressure until she had difficulty breathing and became light-headed. Her daughter came into the room and physically removed Francisco from her, and called 911. Officers documented bruising around the neck and chin of the victim.
Louisiana Tourist Amos Bennett admits to assaulting wife in downtown Nashville Hotel
54-year-old Amos Bennett and his wife, Katie Bennett, were visiting Nashville this weekend from Louisiana when Metro Nashville Police responded to their room at the Drury Hotel downtown for a domestic disturbance call. Amos met officers as they arrived and stated he became upset with his wife and kicked her in the knee while she was sitting on the ground. Officers entered the room and found his wife sitting on the ground, crying in pain with an obvious injury. She was transported to centennial for treatment, and Amos was transported to booking, where he was charged with domestic assault with bodily injury.
