56-year-old Andreas Cauley told police he waiting until his girlfriend, Kellie Gullage, got back into the car before he assaulted her. They were at his workplace at the Antioch Sam’s Club on May 19th having an argument, and he was upset that she had caused a scene where he was employed. He admits to the assault, during which he slapped and struck her on both sides of her face. She drove to the South Precinct to report the incident after it occurred.

Steven Cole assaults ex-lover with a candle after she attacks him with hot rice

32-year-old Steven Cole was jailed Thursday on an outstanding warrant charging him with felony aggravated assault. His former roommate and lover, Laquisha Lacy, contacted police on May 12th to report a food fight turned felony incident that occurred two weeks prior, on April 27th. She says the two were having a verbal argument when he left the shared apartment and tried to come back inside, at which time he tossed things around the home. Lacy states she threw hot rice on Steven Cole. In retaliation, Cole admits he threw a candle at Lacy, striking her in the head. She had to be transported to the hospital for her injuries and required eight stitches to close the gash on her forehead.

Michael Batchelor charged with assault & harassment of child’s mother; threatens to kill her

33-year-old Michael Batchelor is jailed on domestic assault and harassment charges after showing up at the home of his child’s mother Wednesday and threatening her life and to shoot up her apartment. The harassment started that same morning when he advised he was coming to see his child, and Jakytra Johnson told him he wasn’t currently welcome there and he needed to make better arrangements with more advanced planning as he had recently made threats to her.

He showed up later that afternoon after multiple calls and threats to end her life. Multiple witnesses at the residence were able to take video and corroborate the events to the police. One of the videos shows Batchelor making threats on Johnson’s life and attempting to assault her daughter’s boyfriend, Chris Jones.

Marie Cunningham charged with assaulting her boyfriend with a metal walking cane

Metro Nashville Police responded to Claiborne Street Thursday, where Eugene McClain advised he was sleeping on the living room couch around 3:30 a.m. when his girlfriend, 66-year-old Marie Cunningham, attempted to wake him up by striking him twice in the arm with a metal walking cane while saying, “You ain’t sleep!” Officers documented bruising on his arm, consistent with being assaulted with a cane. Ms. Cunningham denies that any assault took place. A cane was located inside the home and seized as evidence. It is unknown if they patched up their relationship since she bonded out.

Metro Police were dispatched to Victory Ave on May 13th on a disorderly person call. They met with Tymber Fullard, who explained she and friends were visiting Nashville from Georgia to attend a concert. She says her former roommate, 21-year-old Abigail Haley Millsap, followed her from Georgia all the way to Nashville with the intent to harass the group of friends. Millsap reportedly threw a bottle of liquid onto Fullard, causing a “slimy orange-colored liquid” to spill onto her legs, boots, and hands, as the bottle shattered. Millsap fled the scene before police arrived, and a warrant was issued for her arrest.

Eric Thatcher, charged with sexual exploitation, says he was attracted to minors “at one time”

30-year-old Eric Thatcher is charged with the sexual exploitation of a minor after officers located over 100 sexual images of minors in his Dropbox online storage account. In some of the videos, the minor females were as young as toddlers, and some were dressed in bondage attire in the videos. During an interview, Thatcher admitted to receiving the videos and images and viewing them. He disclosed that he “at one time” had a sexual attraction to minors.

35-year-old Nashville Rapper & Franklin Realtor Houston Parks told Metro Nashville Police he smoked marijuana “minutes before driving,” according to an arrest warrant obtained by Scoop: Nashville overnight. He also confirmed the powder in his pocket was cocaine. Parks maintains an active real estate license with the state despite a 2006 DUI and drug possession charges, a 2007 charge for selling ‘woo’ (fake cocaine) and fleeing from police, a 2009 MNPD Undercover Information operation that caught him with a felony amount of cocaine, and yet another DUI charge in 2010. DUI: Felicia Andrus calls police to assist in her drunk driving search for her missing friend

On May 16th, 29-year-old Felicia Andrus called police to her East Nashville location on Woodland Street to report a “missing person”. Officers arrived to find Felicia sitting in her Kia Soul with the keys in the center console of the vehicle. She stepped out to explain that she was attempting to locate her friend who she had been with at 3 Crow Bar, where she drank five green tea shots, four coronas, and a Bushwacker. She lost her friend, and she had his phone, and he had hers. She had been driving around East Nashville looking for him and decided to pull over at this location to seek police to assist in her search. Officers quickly realized she was still heavily intoxicated, and she agreed to perform field sobriety tests, on which she performed poorly. She would eventually blow a 0.227% BAC on a breathalyzer at booking.

Joseph Michael Parisi: too drunk for Nashville at 7 p.m. on a Sunday

Metro Nashville Police say they found 53-year-old Joseph Parisi on the sidewalk of 600 Broadway in downtown Nashville just before 7 p.m. Sunday, so intoxicated he didn’t know what day it was, why he was in Nashville, or how he planned to get back to where he was staying. He reportedly reeked of alcohol and admittedly had no one to care for him in his current condition. The officers then took him into custody and transported him to booking, charging him with public intoxication.

John Paul Jones strips naked outside East Nashville home of Elmer Boykin; demands to be let inside

42-year-old John Paul Jones remains jailed in lieu of a $10,100 bond after police say he showed up outside the East Nashville home of Elmer Boykin, Jr., and stripped off his clothes until only a shirt remained on his body. He then came to the front door with rocks in his hand and demanded Boykin open the door. When Boykin refused, Jones smashed the glass door with a rock and told him, “I have 3 more rocks, and the next one is coming through the main glass.” He reached into the broken window pane and attempted to unlock the inner door. Boykin and Jones have a history, and police say Boykin has been the victim of several “domestic-related” calls with Jones in the past. Officer Kinsey arrived and de-escalated the situation before it could progress further, and took Jones into custody. A report from that evening notes the officer believed Jones to be under the influence of a controlled substance.

Roommate Rumble leaves one injured, one jailed — Anthony Barnes

A roommate rumble left ‘Dakota’ Caleb Hooks-Johnson bloody and with welts, and 20-year-old Anthony Barnes in jail, charged with domestic assault. On May 16th, the duo had an argument about paperwork required by the leasing office of their apartment complex, and at some point, Barnes believed that Hooks-Johnson disrespected his girlfriend. The two went outside, separated, and attempted to discuss the matter in an adult matter, however, Barnes was not being reasonable. Barnes eventually followed his roommate back up the steps to the landing where they tussled, and Barns struck him with his fists until Caleb-Hooks picked him up around the waist. During the eventual brawl, a neighbor’s window was broken out, and Hooks-Johnson ended up with welts and redness on his back and cuts from the broken glass.

Nashville man steals & crashes ambulance after taking an Ambien — Andre Scot Pfeiffer, remembers nothing

36-year-old Andre Scot Pfeiffer says he took an Ambien Monday night while in the living room of his apartment in the 1800 block of Church Street. Just after 2 a.m.Tuesday morning, video footage shows him walking across the street to St. Thomas Midtown Hospital, where he got into an ambulance and drove away. He then crashed into the scaffolding of a building just seven blocks away near 1100 Church Street. He exited the crashed ambulance and continued to walk toward downtown Nashville, where police apprehended him during his sidewalk stroll. He says the last thing he remembers before waking up in handcuffs is taking an Ambien in his living room.

Brett Hatch booked on outstanding theft citation from 2020 & ROR’d

23-year-old Brett Austin Hatch was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail Friday on an outstanding citation for theft of property by possession. A 2020 citation details that police responded to a Nolensville Pike call in which Hatch was a suspect and found him parked partially on the street and partially on the sidewalk. A consent search of the vehicle produced a loaded Smith & Wesson handgun which had been reported as stolen from a Cheatham County residence in 2018.

Metro Nashville Police responded to Legends Corner at 428 Broadway for a disorderly person call on Saturday, where they found 43-year-old Jason O’Brian. They say he was so intoxicated he could not stand up straight, and when they told him this fact, he stated, “I am standing up straight!” — but he was not. When asked if he had someone who could care for him or come get him, he said “yes” but refused to provide any further information or point them out. Due to his extreme level of intoxication, he was transported to booking.

Kevaughn Russell charged in stabbing of co-worker at Holston House Nashville

22-year-old Kevaughn Russell is charged with stabbing his Holston House co-worker Deangelo Key in the face and torso. Police say Key was transported to Vanderbilt Hospital for treatment, and during an interview with police he stated that Russell had a knife in his sleeve and began to stab him with it. The felony aggravated assault was also witnessed by co-workers Tavoy Noicely and Macdolph Longmore and captured on video surveillance. During the investigation, Russell was located at St. Thomas Midtown after checking himself into the emergency department with a complaint of a knife injury to his right hand. He confessed to the stabbing and was transported to Central Precinct.

Health Inspectors found cooked chicken wings sitting at 50 degrees in a walk-in-cooler, and an employee admitted to adding wings cooked on the day of the inspection to the prior day’s pan of cooked wings and mixing them together. That was one of the many violations earning the Nashville favorite an 84 during their regular inspection Monday afternoon. Other violations included raw oysters stored in pans on the floor of the cooler, pans nested into each other without lids, raw fish stored uncovered, and the hand sink in the prep room wasn’t able to be accessed or used.

Sarah Foster Sutherland charged with DUI & cocaine possession after leaving bar

Metro Nashville Police say 29-year-old Sarah Foster Sutherland, of Brentwood, was traveling behind Officer Joseph Gonzales in East Nashville early Tuesday morning when she suddenly passed his police vehicle at a high rate of speed. He reached 80 mph on Gallatin Pike to catch up with her, while the speed limit is 40 mph in that area. She eventually made a U-turn, stopped parallel to his vehicle, and stared at him “as if confused as to what to do,” according to the officer. She claimed to be coming from a bar and was driving fast to get away from patrons who were “bothering her.” Inside the vehicle was a white powder, which she admitted was cocaine. She was charged with DUI and drug possession and transported to booking.

Two charged in East Nashville DUI crash —Gretchen Mahugh & Kevin Sicc (Sichoumphonh)

29-year-old Gretchen Mahugh & 25-year-old Kevin Sichoumphonh (aka Kevin Sicc) were jailed early Sunday morning after a DUI crash in East Nashville with airbag deployment. Gretchen was driving a vehicle belonging to her friend, Kevin, at the time of the crash. She states she had two shots of tequila two hours before driving. When asked to perform field sobriety tests, she initially refused, stating she did not trust the police but eventually agreed. She performed poorly on those tests and eventually blew a 0.216% BAC on a breathalyzer. Kevin was in the passenger seat of the vehicle at the time of the crash and was charged with DUI owner per-se for knowingly allowing an intoxicated person to drive his vehicle.

Soldier Sean Puzewski was found drunk & unconscious in downtown Nashville

28-year-old Sean Puzewski was located unresponsive and heavily intoxicated in front of Bridgestone Arena in downtown Nashville in the early hours of Saturday morning. Officers working the Entertainment District Initiative arrived to assist, along with medics from the Nashville Fire Department. He was already loaded onto the medic’s cot when he came to and began to unbuckle the safety straps and then refused any and all medical assistance. Due to his level of intoxication and inability to care for himself, he was transported to booking and charged with public intoxication.

Memphis man charged with BUI & reckless boating on Percy Priest Lake — Millard Byrd

TWRA Boating Officer Joshua Landrum says he noticed a pontoon boat traveling across Percy Priest Lake at 2-3 mph Saturday with no one at the steering wheel. He noticed the two occupants of the boat were seated at the very front of the pontoon boat talking, and 48-year-old Millard Byrd only returned to the driver’s console after the blue lights were activated on the TWRA boat, at which time he put the throttle in neutral and turned off the ignition. Landrum says the boat operator was obviously intoxicated, and when asked to put on a life jacket, he kept trying to put on a woman’s life jacket, which was much smaller and would not fit him. After performing poorly on field sobriety tests, he was taken into custody on multiple charges.

67-year-old Brenda Ross is free on a new $2,500 bond after being jailed on a new felony aggravated stalking charge this weekend. The Nashville socialite who hobnobs with the like of the District Attorney, The Mayor, and sitting judges, was initially arrested on May 9th for violating an order of protection. The new warrant, which was signed on May 11th, details multiple instances of Ross sending messages to the victim, Marilyn Jones, via social media, showing up at Jazzy’s where she knew the victim to be, only to sit across the bar and stare at her without saying anything. Once the victim left and went to Larry’s Bar, Ross followed her there. The victim continues to feel harassed and stalked by Ross.

Woman found passed out at Jason Aldean’s back door, wanders into traffic when awoken — Kelly Smith

Metro Nashville Police were flagged down by security at Jason Aldean’s bar, who stated they had located an intoxicated woman passed out at their back door. Officers found 54-year-old Kelly Smith and woke her up. She could not stand without falling and was “severely intoxicated” according to an arrest report. An ambulance was called to the scene, however, Smith refused all medical assistance. She then tried to wander into traffic, so officers decided she could not care for herself and transported her to booking.
