Fardus Muzamil charged with threatening boyfriend’s ex-girlfriend with a taser

21-year-old Fardus Muzamil was jailed this week on an outstanding warrant from November, charging her with assault. A warrant says Fardus was dating Keith King, who has a child with Shaterra Gibson from a prior relationship. On the morning of November 15th, Gibson was dropping the child off at Ida B. Wells Elementary School when she noticed an older model green Pontiac driving around the school and again at her residence when she arrived home to Lischey Ave. She then got into the vehicle of a friend, and the Pontiac continued to follow them. Eventually, the Pontiac, driven by Fardus, pulled beside them and pointed a taser at the victim in a threatening matter. She also reportedly texted the victim, stating she was going to “beat her”.

Lauren Love charged with assault of girlfriend who flushed her drugs down the toilet

Nicole Reed tells police she found methamphetamine on the dresser of her girlfriend, 30-year-old Lauren Love. She says she had already wanted her if she ever found drugs in the apartment she was ending the relationship. As she flushed the drugs down the toilet, she says Love began assaulting her with punches and kicks to her body. she also pulled her purse strap around her neck for a few seconds until it broke. Officers observed injuries to the victim’s hand, arm, and back. A warrant was issued for Love’s arrest, and she was booked on it this week.

New Yorker Zackery Green fought with Tootsie’s bouncers after being asked to leave the bar

Security guards at Tootsie’s on Broadway in downtown Nashville say 31-year-old Zackery Green was being unruly and became physically aggressive when asked to leave the location. As they were detaining him, one of the guards, Anthony Cunningham, sustained a minor scrape to his elbow and wanted to press charges for assault. He was transported to booking and charged with assault, public intoxication, and disorderly conduct.

WKRN Reporter Gerald Harris fled from police in 2017 — this week he was booked into jail

27-year-old WKRN Reporter Gerald Harris was driving recklessly on Alameda Street in March of 2017 and was pulled over by Officer Mancino. As the officer approached the car and asked for the man’s license, Gerald put the car back into drive and sped away heading East on John A Merritt Blvd. The officer was unable to keep up with the vehicle and issued a warrant for his arrest. Five years later, he was booked on the charge of felony evading arrest.

Elijah Carter charged after making threats during child custody exchanges with mother of his child

On April 14th, Deseante Horton went to pick up her child from the father, 23-year-old Elijah Carter, at which time she says he began yelling that she was not taking his child back, and he then threatened to smack and beat her, she says. She retrieved the child and once outside of the home, Carter reportedly retrieved a handgun and placed her in fear as she fled. On April 20th, Elijah came to her home to exchange the child, and when she refused to give him the child due to the prior incident, he reportedly texted her that if she didn’t bring the child out he would shoot up her house.

Tyre Grannemann booked on 2020 domestic assault warrant

25-year-old Tyre Grannemann was jailed this week on an outstanding warrant from 2020 charging him with domestic assault. Despite his then-girlfriend, Jilliane Forney, telling police she didn’t want to prosecute and was only filing the report to justify breaking her lease, officers were still bound to act on the report of the assault and issue the warrant. She told police Tyre had been drinking with friends and returned home, and they got into a scuffle with pillows which she says escalated into him slapping and grabbing her neck, strangling her. She provided police with photos of redness in the shape of a handprint, and they observed a small bruise on her arm.

Nykeira Collier pushes into brother’s residence, demands to sell his iPad as she needs money

Torrion Collier says his 21-year-old estranged sister, Nykeira Collier, came to his residence late at night and knocked on the door. As he opened it and realized who it was, he attempted to close the door, however, she placed her foot in the doorway. She then pushed through the door while holding an umbrella, using it in a striking motion as she entered. She ran into his bedroom, stating she needed to sell his iPad because she needed money. She is charged with aggravated burglary.

Dematheus Burns pulls gun on man who backed into his vehicle, demands immediate payment

18-year-old Dematheus Burns was jailed this week on an outstanding warrant charging him with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Police say someone accidentally backed into his vehicle in an apartment parking lot. In response, Burns exited his vehicle, produced a handgun, aimed it at the other driver, Roger Alexander III, and demanded immediate payment for the damages. A female in the car, believed to be Alexis Hill, the sister of Burns, was also present. Over the next several days, Hill also contacted the victim by phone and text demanding immediate direct payment.

Miles Quirk free on a $15,000 bond after an absolute brutal attack on his girlfriend

31-year-old Miles Quirk faces a felony charge after police say he pushed his girlfriend, Lauren Mitchell, down a flight of stairs, and once she was at the bottom he got on top of her and banged her head against the floor while punching her in the face. He then reportedly strangled her until she passed out. Neighbors called police and officers documented multiple injuries on the victim, including a large forehead contusion, lacerations to her nose, ligature marks on her neck, swelling and bruising on her face and eyes, and a puncture mark on her left chest.

Johnny McGowan charged with attempted murder of his brother — shot him four times

48-year-old Johnny McGowan is charged with the attempted murder of his brother, Reginald Malone. Police say Malone called 911 to report he had been shot by his brother in February after an unspecified disagreement. Malone suffered four gunshot wounds… two on his right side, one in his gluteus maximus, and one in his right leg. McGowan was charged with 2nd-degree murder once before, however it was pleaded down to an aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

Joshua Lira-Sierra crashed car while on Fentanyl & Marijuana, injuring two passengers

19-year-old Joshua Lira-Sierra was jailed this week on several outstanding warrants stemming from an incident in September of 2021 during which police say he nearly struck a police car while traveling at a high rate of speed and then crashed with his two passengers inside. Everyone was treated at Vanderbilt for their injuries, and his blood tests came back positive for Lorazepam, marijuana, and Fentanyl. Warrants were signed for two counts of vehicular assault on his passengers, Jorge Centella & Hadolp Castillo-Vasquez, evading arrest in a motor vehicle, and driving on a suspended license.

67-year-old Vivian Crawford points unloaded weapon at ex-lover, pulls trigger repeatedly

67-year-old Vivian Crawford continues to constantly violate orders of protection, bond conditions, and no-contact orders issued by the Court. In her 2nd arrest this week, she continues to not understand her ex-boyfriend, Tony Smith, just isn’t into her and continues to appear at his home. Most recently she showed up just before midnight pounding on his door, and when he opened it, she pointed a pistol at him, threatened to kill him, and pulled the trigger on the unloaded weapon. She returned again just before 1 a.m. and repeated the same actions, repeated pulling the trigger while pointing the unloaded gun at him.

Aaron Shelby puts his hand in a bouncer’s mouth and pulls “like a fishhook” after a “what’s up blood” greeting

Jesse Culpepper was working as a security guard in downtown Nashville Thursday night when 33-year-old Aaron Shelby walked up behind him, said “what’s up blood”, then reached around and placed his finger in Culpepper’s mouth “in a fishhook manner” and began to pull. Culpepper used a foot sweep to take him to the ground, at which point Shelby bit the inside of the bouncer’s thigh twice, and spit in his face. Culpepper was missing some flesh after the wild attack. Shelby was cuffed and detained by Culpepper and transferred to the custody of officers, who he then pelted with racial slurs throughout his interaction.

Tourist Devon Feager threatens to beat MNPD officers & “break them in half”

Metro Nashville Police responded to 416 Broadway for a fight involving another person. After that person was arrested for public intoxication, 35-year-old Top Flite Financial Sr. Sales Manager Devon Feager began to be verbally abusive to officers at the scene. When asked to calm down and move along, he made specific threats against officers. Officers gave him one last warning and chance to walk away, however, Devon Feager then told officers he was going to “beat them and break them in half”. As he was being arrested on multiple charges, he used all of his body weight to pull away and had to be taken to the ground to be taken into custody.
