“Aw, shit… I’m in handcuffs” says woman who tossed her urine out of car & used N-word toward officers — Myra Ashton arrested

Police say 67-year-old Myra Ashton was causing a disturbance at a downtown Nashville construction site as she was stopped in traffic at a “road closed” sign honking her horn while making obscene gestures at nearby workers and citizens. Upset she was unable to pass, she then urinated into a plastic cup and threw it. She then began to spin her tires on the roadway and police eventually arrived. She admitted she had been at a restaurant with a friend where she had a margarita prior to driving. After being placed into custody for DUI, Ashton attempted to kick out the window of the patrol car and used racial slurs, including the N-word, toward officers in what they described as a “venting session” in court records. She then fell asleep, and when she was awakened she asked who the officer was, and where she was, then looked around and stated: “Aw, shit, I’m in handcuffs!”

Florida Man jailed after attempting to sneak back into Morgan Wallen concert — Jared Carroll

Metro Nashville Police say 36-year-old Jared Carroll was at the Morgan Wallen Concert at Bridgestone Arena and was trying to access the floor area of the concert, for which he did not have access tickets. After he attempted to bypass a barrier, security asked him to leave the concert. He took a fighting stance and attempted to escalate the situation, and was removed and trespassed from the property. Moments later, he attempted to re-gain entry to the venue and was taken into police custody.

Tourist Clarissa Nava charged with slapping boyfriend on Broadway in downtown Nashville

43-year-old tourist Clarissa Nava was bar-hopping on Broadway in downtown Nashville with her boyfriend, Ricardo Reyes, and the couple had been drinking most of the day. When they got to Jason Aldean’s bar she reportedly confronted him about speaking with other women and using his phone. She grabbed him by the collar, pulling his sweater, causing it to rip. As he attempted to walk away, he says she slapped him across the face four times. Despite her insistence that she never touched him, the assault was witnessed by an officer working the area.

Carlos Che Quej found drunk and injured, sleeping on a stranger’s lawn in Nashville

27-year-old Carlos Che Quej was found sleeping on a stranger’s lawn on Saturn Drive Saturday night just after 10 p.m. when officers made contact with Che Quej, he was unable to answer most questions, but was able to convey he had consumed “8 or 9 beers”. It was unclear how he sustained multiple facial injuries, but he refused all medical assistance. The homeowner wanted him off his lawn, so he was taken into custody and charged with public intoxication.

Audrey Bradley charged with DUI — 3 glasses of wine in 30 minutes

Police say 21-year-old Audrey Bradley was swerving while driving a silver SUV in the roundabout near Vanderbilt University Medical Center just after midnight. As an officer initiated a traffic stop, Bradly pulled over and stumbled out of her vehicle before the officer was even getting out of his vehicle. Using slurred words, and exaggerated arm and hand movements, she reportedly admitted to consuming three glasses of wine in the half-hour just before driving. She blew a 0.178% BAC on a breathalyzer.

Tourist Madison Grubbs spits on ‘Nashville Six’ Officer Brenna Hosey, during drunken arrest

27-year-old Madison Grubbs came all the way to Nashville for a girls’ weekend and ended up in a Nashville jail cell. At 1 a.m. Sunday, officers were dispatched to the Moxy Hotel in downtown Nashville where they located Grubbs, who was extremely intoxicated and unable to care for herself. Officers had an ambulance respond to the scene to care for her, however, she refused medical assistance, which would have avoided jail. With no other options, police then took her into custody for public intoxication – a charge which would have disappeared in a few hours when she sobered up. Grubbs was going easy, though. While being escorted to a patrol car, she began fighting and kicking in an attempt to break free from custody. When Officer Brenna Hosey (one of the ‘Nashville Six’) attempted to search her prior to being placed in the transport car, Grubbs intentionally spit on Hosey.

34-year-old Hannah German flagged down police officers in downtown Nashville, reportedly asking for help in detaining her sister, Emma German. A group of citizens near 5th & Broadway were also reporting an assault was occurring between the two sisters. The two had been at Tootsie’s and got into an argument over using a rideshare to return to their hotel. Emma attempted to part ways, however, Hannah grabbed her by the neck twice, refusing to let her leave. During the scuffle, Emma sustained some injuries, including a bloody lip, scratches on her neck and chest, and a broken backpack, which she had been wearing.

Vikki Rush says she returned home after being out drinking and found the door was locked, causing her to have to knock until her husband, 61-year-old Lawrence Rush, let her inside. As she moved past him, her purse reportedly hit her husband, and she says he pushed her in response, starting a physical altercation. Vikki told police her husband eventually pushed her to the ground and strangled her, leaving scratch marks on her neck. During the struggle, he reportedly grabbed her by the hair and hit both her head and nose on the floor, which was swollen and had some bleeding.

Metro Nashville Police were investigating an abandoned vehicle near the Bell Rd exit at I-24 when suddenly 29-year-old Logan McCann rear-ended another vehicle in front of officers. 25-year-old Jordan Durham is charged with the domestic assault of her boyfriend, Anthony Keith Phillips, after she says she was attempting to stop him from moving her items out of their shared apartment and caused an injury to his right arm. Both parties agreed that he pushed her away, striking her in the mouth in response, and she claims she was strangled and slammed into the wall. After an investigation by responding officers, Durham was determined to be the primary aggressor due to the severity of the injury, and both parties agreed that she initiated the physical contact.

Juan Andres charged with sexual battery of family friend at death remembrance gathering

Metro Police say 41-year-old Juan Andres was at an Antioch home on March 12 where many friends and family had gathered due to a death in the family. During the evening, everyone present consumed both food and alcohol, resulting in many staying at the residence overnight, including a friend of the family, who is the victim in this case. After the female victim fell asleep on the couch, a family member noticed Juan Andres was seated beside her, with his hand inside the front of her pants. The family member pulled him away from the woman, and police were notified, and the victim was transported to the hospital for evaluation, stating she did not recall the incident. During an interview, Andres admitted to rubbing the victim across her back and buttocks, over her clothes, but “did not recall” if he touched her inside her pants, or not.

23-year-old Demetrius Jones was beating on the doors of the Federal Courthouse at 801 Broadway in downtown Nashville, determined to get inside, believing it was his hotel. Metro Police say 24-year-old Sharon Heaton was trying to enter an apartment that wasn’t hers on Sunday. The actual resident of the apartment believed someone was attempting to break into their home and called 911. Officers arrived to find Heaton passed out on the ground in front of the apartment door. She eventually regained some awareness, but was still extremely intoxicated and was a danger to herself and others. She refused medical services, and with no one else to care for her, was booked into jail, charged with public intoxication.

DUI: Police knock on Jordan Rafferty’s door when she simply goes home after a hit-and-run

27-year-old Jordan Rafferty blew a 0.183% BAC on a breathalyzer when police eventually tracked her down and knocked on her door after she crashed her silver Mazda sedan into a flatbed construction vehicle on Murphy Road and fled the scene. Her car sustained “severe front end damage” and was located in the parking lot of her apartment complex with all airbags deployed. She claims someone at the scene told her to drive home and not worry about it. Witnesses at the scene say she fled the scene as quickly as she collided with the truck.
