Michael Ozzy charged with resisting arrest after being bounced from Predators Game at Bridgestone Arena

24-year-old Michael Ozzy was recording a hockey game at Bridgestone Area when he was asked to stop the activity. He reportedly continued as was eventually asked to leave the game due to not following the house rules. He left to appease security, then returned right back to the property. When officers explained he was under arrest for criminal trespass he fled. He was apprehended after a short foot pursuit, near 7th Ave & Broadway. Police say he pulled away and resisted arrest.

Bertin Bayisenge charged in assault of his 2-year-old autistic son

38-year-old Bertin Bayisenge is charged with assaulting his 2-year-old son, who is diagnosed with Autism, by repeatedly striking him in the back of the head after picking him up by his shirt and yelling at him in a fit of anger. The child’s mother says Bayisenge was intoxicated when he came home and assaulted the child, and was also verbally abusive. The couple was in an argument when the autistic child rand toward the father, which is when the assault occurred. Police documented an injury to the child’s head, and the child would scream any time the mother attempted to show or touch the injured area. The child was treated at Vanderbilt and the father was jailed.

Four charged with felony marijuana possession & distribution — half-pound found during traffic stop

Just after 6 p.m. on Friday, police attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a black Volkswagen, however, the car fled the area. Officers were able to get the tag number and again located the vehicle almost 28 hours later near 1st Ave S. & Korean Veterans Blvd. As officers approached the vehicle, they could see just over a half-pound of marijuana in the back seat in separate baggies. All four individuals in the vehicle were charged with felony possession with intent to distribute: Demarrrio Bowen, 19, Lamont D. Begley, 19, Brandon D. Jnobaptiste, 23, and Donnell Booker, 18.

Taresha Randall charged for her role in brutal Thanksgiving beating at Vibes Bar & Lounge

29-year-old Taresha Randall was jailed this week on an outstanding warrant detailing her role in the beating of Keila Ruiz at Vibes Bar & Lounge last Thanksgiving. During the investigation of the aggravated assault, it was discovered on security footage that Taresha Randall grabbed Ruiz and held her while she was punched and kicked in her head and face by her ex-boyfriend, David White, and his new girlfriend. A witness reported that a Kezachary Horsley exited a vehicle, charged at Emmanuel Gordon, and opened fire as Gordon begged, “please don’t shoot!” — At the time of the murder, Horsley was free on bond in regard to a number of charges, including aggravated robbery for allegedly pulling a gun on Gordon as he rode his bicycle and robbing him of $8 on September 18, 2020. Nathan Woods found passed out at hotel bar, threatening to fight police & medics

34-year-old Nathan Woods was found passed out at the bar of the Hyatt Place Nashville/Brentwood on Summit View Drive late Monday night. Medics arrived and offered assistance, which was refused once he became aware of his surroundings. He was extremely intoxicated and unable to care for himself. Unhappy with his situation, he made threats to fight both police and medics. Due to being unable to care for himself, he was taken into custody.

Travis “Trigga Trav” Rucker & Treasure “Keke” Sanford charged with sex trafficking of woman

37-year-old Travis Rucker, locally known as Nashville rapper “Trigga Trav” and 34-year-old Treasure “Keke” Sanford, owner of “Big Mama’s Kitchen” are now each charged with sex trafficking after a sting at a West End hotel. A woman who arrived at the hotel in the care of the couple says was made her a victim of human trafficking, with Rucker serving as her pimp and controlling all money received from prostitution deals arranged by Rucker and Sanford. Sanford also picked out the clothing for the victim to wear and posted the ads online arranging meetings for men to pay her for sex and they would both respond to texts and messages on her behalf.

Jocelyn Barney charged with DUI in downtown Nashville

23-year-old Joycelyn Barney told officers she “swerved to avoid an animal in the road” when she crashed her silver Hyundai Elantra in downtown Nashville at 3:30 a.m. Sunday. Officers observed both she and a passenger sustained injuries, and while there were no animals in the area of downtown Nashville, there was a large concrete barricade that she struck. She stated they were coming from Ainsworth, and admitted to consuming “a few” mixed drinks containing tequila prior to driving. Due to her extreme level of intoxication, she was charged with DUI.

Aisha Williams rolled up her sleeves, chest bumped an officer & said “I am about that honey, believe me!”

Police say 36-year-old Aisha Williams was trespassing at a retirement community in Madison on Friday and when she refused to leave they attempted to place her under arrest as she was recording them. They claim she “chest bumped” an officer, rolled up her sleeves, assumed an aggressive fighting stance, and stated: “I am about that honey, believe me, I am about that!!” She continued to aggress toward officers and pull her hands away from being cuffed until she was tased into compliance.

28-year-old Ryan Taugher was driving a blue Mercedes in North Nashville Friday and parked at the Chipotle on Rosa L. Parks Blvd when police encountered the vehicle, parked partially in the striped handicapped area. Officers approached the car and Taugher stated he was waiting for his order. He admitted to drinking “3 or 4 mimosas” earlier, and police say he reeked of alcohol. He refused all testing and was transported to booking, charged with DUI.

20-year-old Daunte Lalio was attempting to turn into head-on traffic on a one-way street in downtown Nashville just before 1 a.m. Sunday when a traffic officer blew his whistle, alerting him. He immediately reversed the vehicle and stopped. Officers approached the vehicle, and immediately observed him to be confused and intoxicated. He eventually admitted to being intoxicated and then urinated on himself while waiting on a blood draw at Metro General. His car was towed to the impound lot. He deleted his secondary IG account after being released from jail, which documented his underage drinking activities of the evening, but not before Scoop: Nashville archived it prior to his release.

31-year-old Kyle Coolidge crashed into another driver at a red light just before 3 a.m. Sunday. He attempted to flee the scene multiple times, resulting in the other driver removing the keys from Coolridge’s possession. Coolridge then fell asleep in the time it took the police to arrive at the accident scene. He would eventually blow a 0.229% BAC and be charged with DUI.

Police take gun from teenager near airport hotel — Mohamed Kulolu Mohamed

Poice noticed 18-year-old Mohamed Kulolu Mohamed “aimlessly wandering” the area of 2300 Elm Hill Pike, The Residence Inn, on Sunday and approached him. He stated he was just waiting on a friend. Police observed an obvious imprint of a handgun in his hoodie and asked him what was in the pocket, to which Mohamed replied “what do you think?”, causing officers to immediately grab and retrieve the gun from the teen. A records check revealed the gun was reported as stolen, and marijuana was found on Mohamed during a search.

Tourist Wyatt Whitlock tosses large metal chair from Jason Aldean’s rooftop bar, striking woman below

21-year-old Wyatt Thomas Whitlock, of Newalla, OK, threw a large metal chair from the third story of Jason Aldean’s rooftop bar on Saturday, sticking a female in the head, who was on the sidewalk below. The victim, Madison Ferguson, suffered a severe laceration requiring medical treatment. Police located Whitlock, who was heavily intoxicated, and he stated he did it “by accident”. He is charged with felony aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

Jadazia Terrell tells officers “don’t touch me until my baby daddy get here” — resisting arrest

20-year-old Jadazia Terrell reportedly pointed a gun a the staff of a Days Inn on Conference Drive. When police arrived, hotel staff pointed to her as she was walking down the stairs in the back of the building. Officers confronted her as she was being disorderly and yelling. The hotel owner claims she was the person who pointed the gun. As police attempted to pat her down for a weapon, she pulled away and screamed “don’t touch me until my baby daddy get here!” As officers attempted to place her in cuffs she struggled for several minutes and caused injuries to both hands of one of the officers.

Melanie Rappette says she went to Coronado Court to meet with a cousin of 18-year-old Bobby Wayne Key. As she entered, Key was exiting and called her a “snitch” as they passed each other. About an hour later, she came outside and immediately noticed her vehicle was “damaged”, resulting in an estimate of over $1,600 to repair. Key texted the victim apologizing for the vandalism.

Flipping Music City CEO Lukas Ham pulls assault rifle on neighbor during street parking dispute

26-year-old Real Estate investor Lukas Ham, who owns Flipping Music City / Modern Investments, was jailed over the weekend after the baby-faced CEO reportedly popped his trunk and pulled an “assault-style rifle” on his neighbor during an argument about a parking lot on the public street where they both live. The victim, Billy Jimenez, says Ham walked toward him with the rifle asking “do we have a problem”, causing him to fear for his life. Ham’s wife, Tehya, confirmed he pulled a gun and confronted their neighbor. Ham refused to speak about the argument or gun, and said the victim’s “verbal aggression was inappropriate and that wasn’t going to happen”.
