Police responded to a single-car crash just before 3 a.m. and found 21-year-old Dre’Daya Holloway sitting inside her vehicle which she had crashed into a utility pole. Police say she was extremely intoxicated, hysterical, and rambling incoherently. She was belligerent with first responders, accusing police of being racist, and questioned if they could properly spell her name. She repeatedly asked why they had not found the vehicle that hit her, despite there being no other vehicle. She frequently responded to radio traffic on the police radio as if it were meant for her. She eventually admitted to believing she was on the TSU Campus and had just come from a party where she had been drinking Hennessy.

Teen charged with robbing his neighbors, using his own ID to pawn electronics — T’Shawn Palton

19-year-old T’Shawn Palton faces felony aggravated burglary and felony theft charges after his neighbors at the apartment directly above him reported their 65″ television, Macbook, and white Xbox One were missing when they came home. After detectives ran one of the serial numbers it came back as being pawned by Palton, and when detectives notices his address was directly below the victim’s, they knew they had their man. teenager. child. dumb criminal. Woman charged in seemingly random brutal assault of boyfriend — Breanna Durrenberg

Braden Clark says he had just turned on the shower and was about to get in when his girlfriend, 20-year-old Breanna ‘Bree’ Durrenberg, began pounding on the bathroom door, pushed her way inside, and began screaming and assaulting him. When police located him at the Century Farms Emergency Department next door to the apartment complex, he was beaten and bruised, including a black eye from being punched and a bleeding cut to the back of his head where he was attacked with a glass cologne bottle. Metro Nashville Police say they found 34-year-old Jeffrey Halm passed out behind the wheel of his Tesla at the corner of Gallatin Ave. & Eastland Ave. in the early hours of Monday morning. It took multiple attempts to get Halm alert and awake, at which time he became hesitant to exit the vehicle. He reportedly swayed back and forth and answered every question with “I want my lawyer”, over and over again. Police located an unopened bottle of beer in the cupholder.

A Nashville first date goes horribly wrong, and it’s not the first time — Daniel Sassano arrested

A woman says she went on a first date with 29-year-old Danny Sassano this weekend, and they were at her house in the bed when Sassano began making sexual advances on her, touching her all over. She told him she did not want to have sex that night and asked him to leave, at which time he reportedly became very irate and shoved her in the chest, leaving visible abrasions. Police placed Sassano into custody, but only charged him with domestic assault, as Sex Crimes Detectives stated there was not enough probable cause for sexual assault warrants. Officers also discovered he had an outstanding warrant from another incident in which a woman told him to leave her residence and he grabbed her phone from the bedside table and ran water over it so she could not call 911, then tossed her to the ground. Bullied man rescued from Broadway, jailed for public intoxication — Jarred Bredesen

Metro Nashville Police responded to a fight on Broadway late Saturday night, but the victim could not be located. As they were in the area, they came into contact with 23-year-old Jarred Bredesen who they say was highly intoxicated and could barely stand without assistance. He was yelling at citizens who were walking by, stating that he was mad he had been bullied all of his life. Officers offered him a ride home, noting that Broadway probably wasn’t a safe place for him in his current state, however, he refused to get in the cruiser to be taken home. Due to the annoyance he was causing and his extreme level of intoxication, he still ended up in the back of the car anyway, but now he was handcuffed and charged with public intoxication and transported to booking.

Musician ‘Benny James’ charged with DUI after gig — Ben Svardahl

Police say 29-year-old Benjamin Svardahl, who goes by the stage name of ‘Benny James’, failed to move over for lane closures due to a traffic accident on I-40 in the early hours of Sunday morning, and nearly hit two vehicles and one officer, who had to jump over the barrier to avoid Svardahl’s oncoming car. Officers were able to pull him over 2 miles down the road, at mile marker 205, and observed him to be extremely intoxicated, with thick and mumbled speech and the inability to find his wallet, which was in his lap. He claimed to have had “2 draft beers” during his 3.5-hour music gig that had just ended. He blew a 0.211% BAC on a breathalyzer test.

46-year-old Mandy Dawn Jordan is accused of harassing her ex-boyfriend’s now ex-girlfriend, Ronisha Holt. Holt states she’s changed phone numbers and even moved to another residence, and Dawn Jordan continues to harass and stalk her, calling and texting multiple times a day with threats. For this arrest, Jordan reportedly poured an unknown red substance into the gas tank of Holt’s car, causing it to no longer start.

Caroline Minich says she was giving 24-year-old Fort Campbell Soldier Alani Diaz a back rub when he confronted her and began to call her a “wh–e” and a “sl-t”, after having gone through her phone and noticed she had been communicating with other males. She retreated to the kitchen of the West Nashville apartment, and Diaz followed her, continuing to call her names. He then reportedly smacked her across the face with his open palm, sending her crashing into the oven. Police found her bleeding and bruised. Diaz fled the scene before police arrived.

Metro Police say Jacques Jamar Smith called police after his girlfriend, 26-year-old Taquisha Burt, observed a SnapChat message pop up on his phone inside their Hickory Highlands apartment. She then threw a lotion bottle at him before running toward him, attacking him, leaving scratch marks on his back. He attempted to go outside and de-escalate the situation, however, Burt was not open to that option. Video footage corroborated the assault.

Woman charged with driveway DUI, admits to driving child to school while intoxicated — Mycah Hill

Metro Nashville Police found 40-year-old Mycah Hill asleep in the driver’s seat of her idling vehicle in her driveway on Pebble Creek Drive. When officers woke her up, she was drooling from her mouth and unsteady on her feet, and swaying. She admitted to consuming a large amount of alcohol overnight and into the morning hours, including while sitting in the idling vehicle. She says she then had taken prescribed Xanax prior to driving her child to school. Officers located two open containers of alcohol in the vehicle. Despite multiple attempts, she was unable to provide sufficient samples for the breathalyzer.

Nashville Police 40-year-old Julie Anne Burch refused to pay her bar tab at the Hermitage Hotel in downtown Nashville Thursday. Security didn’t want to prosecute as long as she would agree to leave the property. They discovered her to be extremely intoxicated and attempted to assist her with an Uber, however, she wasn’t sober enough to properly operate the app. She was taken into custody for public intoxication.

23-year-old Ashley Lewis failed to self-book for a 2019 shoplifting citation, and a failure to appear warrant has been outstanding for her arrest ever since. On Wednesday she was taken into custody for the failure to appear. The original citation alleges she took several retail items at the Rivergate Mall Dillard’s store and placed them inside of store bags and attempted to walk out the door. She was intercepted by loss prevention and $675.29 worth of merchandise was recovered.

Antioch man charged with kidnapping of wife and assault of ex-lover — James Kennedy

28-year-old James Kennedy, AKA “Busta Buss Checkmate” is free on a $32,500 bond after police say he would not let his wife, Takarria Kennedy, leave their home and assaulted her when she attempted to leave the residence anyways. He grabbed her and tossed her against a wall. One of her female friends, Amaya Forrest, who is also a former lover of the husband, was visiting her at the time, and when she confronted James Kennedy about the assault of his wife and said she was going to call her brother, he pulled up his shirt exposing a handgun in his waistband, then grabbed her and attempted to push her down a set of stairs. As Forrest left the residence, the wife attempted to follow her and physically kept her from leaving for a substantial period of time.

Montevaius Finch (aka Trapboy Woochie) was jailed this week, charged with aggravated assault, and violating an order of protection. Police say his girlfriend, Shataun Wilson called 911 stating “please come” before disconnecting the call. She had accused Finch of taking money that was missing from her bedroom. She says he then pushed her down and got on top of her and assaulted her.
