Police responded to 600 Marriott Drive Wednesday night to find 22-year-old Jasmine Martin “extremely intoxicated” and sitting down in front of the hotel with vomit on her face and clothing. Staff noted she was incapable of leaving the property on her own. She told police she had just come from Jason Aldean’s Bar in downtown Nashville.

75-year-old admits to destroying neighbor’s Ring doorbell camera with her cane— Linda Jones
75-year-old Linda Jones, who carries a homemade shield crafted from the same aluminum foil that lines the interior of her car, was jailed Thursday after she failed to appear on a citation charging her with vandalism. She believes that voices, which were reported at different times to be the voice of the property manager or the Nashville Chief of Police, had told her to destroy her neighbor’s ring doorbell, and at a later time, to kill them. She succeeded in destroying the Ring video doorbell camera, admitting to police she used her cane.
Nashville woman charged with public intoxication at Mapco — Kisha Keeton
Police say they found 34-year-old Kisha Keeton “very intoxicated and in a state of undress” at a Nashville Mapco Sunday. She refused to tell officers how she got into the situation she was in and refused all medical assistance. Unwilling to go to the hospital, and unable to care for herself, she was taken into custody, very much against her will, and charged with public intoxication and resisting arrest.
Judge sets $75,000 bond for man trespassing at home of Taylor Swift’s mother — Bryan Sebera
A Nashville judicial commissioner set the bond for 31-year-old Bryan Sebera at a jaw-dropping $75,000 for a misdemeanor aggravated trespass charge Wednesday evening. Police arrived at the Forest Hills home of Taylor Swift’s mother after the family’s security detail had detained the man. Security advised Sebera was at the home earlier in the day and was escorted off the property. Now, he had returned, crossed over the wall, and was peeking in a window at the back of the estate.
CommuniServe TN Director Korey Kemper jailed on child pornography charges
34-year-old Korey Kemper, who is the Executive Director of CommuniServe Tennessee, has been jailed on a $150,000 bond, charged with two counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, and aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor. When detectives interviewed him about sexual images and videos of children that he had been exchanging on his Kik account, he admitted to both sending and receiving the images. Detectives also found over 100 images of child sexual abuse on his cell phone at the time of the interview.
Couple Identified in Rose Discount Store Shooting — DaWayne Young & Elizabeth Malone
Midtown Hills Precinct detectives are continuing to search for the couple involved in a shooting Monday afternoon at Rose Discount Tobacco and Beer on Nolensville Pike that injured an employee. Dawayne Young, 21, is now named in an outstanding aggravated assault warrant after he fired at the 55-year-old employee during a verbal argument in the store. The employee suffered non-life-threatening injuries as a result of the gunshot wound to his left leg. DaWayne Young and Elizabeth Malone, 21, are believed to have left the Nashville area at this time. Malone is wanted for questioning. Call 615-742-7463 with information.
APSU: Woman kicks campus police in testicles, screams “I’m high as hell!” after 400mg edible — Aila Thomas
20-year-old Aila Michel Thomas says she ate a 400mg marijuana brownie bar shortly before she kicked APSU Campus Police Officer Levi Grubb in his groin and assaulted Officer Gabby Linn. The two had responded to a 911 hangup call from Eriksson Hall to find Thomas running around the common area of the dorm screaming “I’m high as hell!” and stating she was about to pass out.
Daughter charged with assault of father after not getting enough dinner — Ksenia Paromov
28-year-Ksenia Paromov was booked Tuesday on an outstanding warrant charging her with the assault of her father, Viktor Paromov. Police originally responded to the home in September after her father stated Ksenia was upset she had not been given enough dinner. As the argument escalated, she reportedly struck her father in the back of the head as he walked away, and threw several dishes, breaking them. She was initially taken into custody, but while in the patrol car she stated she needed medical attention, so she was transported to a local hospital and a warrant was signed for her later arrest.
Second person arrested in vandalism of Hutson Avenue home in Nashville — Tatumn Newman
VIDEO: Related to the prior arrest of Katelynn Sparks for destroying the Ring doorbell of a home on Hutson Avenue, 21-year-old Tatumn Newman is now charged with destroying a Ring Floodlight Camera at the same home, belonging to Tyler Buchholz. This incident occurred on February 17th, and the video included in the story shows her using a long pole to destroy the camera and floodlight. This is one of a series of events of vandalism and other crimes that have occurred recently at this address from a group of people who live at a nearby home and seem to be targeting this particular neighbor.
Kinoshia Taylor charged in assault of woman at bar who no longer wanted to be friends
Police arrived at Ponobe’s Party Bar & Grille in response to a fight call and found Danyell Taylor “crying and in obvious distress” – she was bleeding from her hand and her head was red and swollen. She later detailed that 23-year-Kinoshia Taylor was the person who assaulted her with her fists after Danyell told Kinoshia she no longer wanted to be friends.
Mother assaults unappreciative son with chair, cup, and ironing board — Hend Gaber arrested
39-year-old Hend Gaber says she was upset over her son living with her without having a job, being disrespectful, and not paying any rent or bills. She told police that was the reason she threw a whole dining room chair at him as he sat in the living room. Also the reason she threw a large metal cup at him as he walked from the living room to the bedroom. It was also the reason she then picked up an ironing board and hit him with it as he continued to remain unphased. Police were called to the scene and took her into custody.
Shamira Jones jailed after assaulting boyfriend with broom & calling police on herself
Tahj Jackson says his girlfriend and mother of his child, 19-year-old Shamira Jones, told him she was packing her things and leaving him. He continued to attempt to go to sleep in the bedroom when she then ripped the covers off him and attacked him with a broom. In self-defense, he quickly overpowered her, during which time the broom struck her in the face and she called 911. When officers arrived, Jones stated: “I tried to hit him first, I’m not even going to lie… he probably has scratches on him”. Police documented his injures and took Jones into custody.
Ryan Stone goes into a brutal “fit of rage” when PlayStation 5 is unplugged by girlfriend
24-year-old Ryan Stone accused his girlfriend, Ashanti Moore, of “playing with him” when she had gone out to get contacts and her phone died. When she returned, he confronted her in their bedroom and pushed her to the floor. She then told him he had to leave the house and unplugged the HDMI and ethernet cords from his PlayStation 5, which “sent him into a fit of rage” during which he pushed her into a wall, grabbed the back of her head, pressed her face onto the floor, and struck her in the back of the head. She believes she lost consciousness during the assault.
Woman charged with biting baby’s daddy, attacking him with a drawerful of knives — Hailey Rigsby
Dylan Davis says the mother of his child, 29-year-old Hailey Rigsby, was attempting to start a verbal argument, however, he refused to respond or give her a reaction, so she began to grab at him in an aggressive manner. In order to prevent her from injuring him, he says he wrapped his arms around her in a burrito-style hold and she bit him on the arm. She then moved around and threw a drawerful of knives and forks at him, and used a knife to cut him on the face. She was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, and police documented multiple injures, including a bite mark, on the victim.
Man says he had 1 vodka drink prior to DUI arrest — Christopher Mask arrested
Metro Police had a road blocked off due to a downed power line Saturday in East Nashville when they say 38-year-old Christopher Mask just simply ignored them and all their flashing lights and emergency equipment, and tried to continue on his way. Police were able to stop the car and immediately noticed a strong smell of alcohol. Mash told them he had just consumed a vodka drink at the Lipstick Lounge prior to driving. Mask performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was transported to booking.
Man charged with DUI after truck engulfed in flames — Joel Cantin
Police made contact with 50-year-old Joel Cantin at 2700 Gallatin Pike Sunday night as his silver Ford F-150 was engulfed in flames. He had escaped the fire and was standing next to a building. He stated he hit a curb which caused his tire to burst, and was driving on the rim and wasn’t aware his truck was on fire until another motorist motioned to him. He was unsure for how long he had been driving like that, but NFD confirmed the tire was completely gone. Police say he was obviously intoxicated and admitted to drinking “a couple of beers”
Kicked out of a bar & assaulted a bouncer, he still had the chance to leave, but not the wisdom — Armon Dooley, arrested
26-year-old Armon Dooley was kicked out of Honky Tonk Central and was escorted to the door, during which time he reportedly swung at multiple bounces, striking a female bouncer with his fist. No one wanted to press charges, just for him to leave the property. Police observed Dooley move fifteen feet down the sidewalk but refused to leave. Officers hailed a cab for Dooley and he refused to get inside.
Man arrested for disorderly conduct in lobby of his downtown apartment building — Matthew Godwin
Just after 1 a.m. Sunday, police responded to the lobby of the apartments at 1515 Demonbreun Street in downtown Nashville and met with 30-year-old Matthew Godwin. The concierge had asked Godwin multiple times to return to his residence due to his level of intoxication and harassment of another resident who was in the lobby. Officer Ricardo Cruz escorted the man upstairs to his apartment and informed him if he returned to the lobby in his current state, he could be arrested. Five minutes later, Godwin was back in the lobby causing issues. He was transported to booking.
Man with missing wallet too drunk for Tin Roof Bar — Charles Rhodes
44-year-old Charles Rhodes was kicked out of the Tin Roof bar on Demonbreun for being disorderly. Once outside, he realized he was without his wallet and was told he would have to come back the following day when he was sober to see if it was located. He flagged down Nashville Police Officer Joshua Spurlock, who along with Lt. Brittany McElwee, went inside to attempt to locate his missing wallet without success. Rhodes was once again told he’d have to return the following day, and at first, he seems to be content and walk away, but moments later he returned yelling and shouting, and after this continued he was eventually taken into custody for disorderly conduct.
Another grown man, deemed too drunk for downtown Nashville — Tyler Roberts arrested
29-year-old Tyler Roberts was at the Hilton Hotel in downtown Nashville when he decided to get behind the wheel of a vehicle they had valet parked at the business. Hotel staff contacted police who say Roberts was visibly impaired, unsteady on his feet, and speaking with slurred speech, all while reeking of alcohol. Unable to locate anyone to care for him, he was taken into custody and charged with public intoxication.
DUI: man traveling 20 mph on I-65 admits to using Kratom — Kendall Henderson
38-year-old Kendall Henderson was stopped on I-65 for traveling at 20 mph in a lane of travel. THP Officer Fuller spoke with Henderson, who was the driver of the vehicle, and who admitted he was using Kratom, which is illegal in Tennessee. Henderson was reportedly confused and disoriented, and admitted to doing “multiple drugs” over the past few days.
Patron punches Nashville Underground bouncer “square in the face” — Timothy Basford
36-year-old Tim Basford was kicked out of Nashville Underground, and as security officer Joshua Siragusa was escorting him out of the venue and onto the sidewalk, Basford turned and punched Siragusa “square in the face” with his fist. Police responded to the scene, and the victim wanted to press charges. As Basford was too intoxicated to receive a citation, he was taken into custody for both the assault and public intoxication.
Man says DUI crash was “a series of unfortunate circumstances” — Austin Clark arrested
Metro Nashville Police responded to a traffic crash in the early hours of Sunday morning on I-24 and found 26-year-old Austin Clark, who was driving the vehicle, to be very confused and slow to respond, stating he “had a little to drink”. When asked how the accident happened, Clark stated “it was a series of unfortunate circumstances” without further explanation. Clark blew a 0.191% BAC and was taken into custody.
Woman to Nashville Cop: “I’ll get away with it cause I’m white” — Tammera Lee arrested
Police say 42-year-old Tammera Lee drove her vehicle into a secured DCSO facility parking lot behind a staff member on S. 5th Street. Police were alerted when the unknown woman appeared to be heavily intoxicated. Officer Ronald Conner responded and Lee admitted to drinking prior to driving and responded with a “Fuck You!” when asked to perform field sobriety tests. She continued to be belligerent with the officer as he noticed several alcoholic beverages in plain sight within her vehicle. As she was informed she was being arrested for DUI, she replied “I’ll get away with it cause I’m white” according to the arrest report.
Dude, where’s my AirBNB? — Conner Brown deemed too drunk for downtown Nashville
Police responded to Tennessee Ave after neighbors reported what appeared to be a man breaking into vehicles. What they found was 26-year-old Conner Brown on a front porch, heavily intoxicated, and lost. Brown relayed he had been out drinking on Broadway in downtown Nashville and was attempting to locate his AirBNB. He didn’t know anyone’s phone number to call assist him and had lost his phone. Multiple neighbors had called to report he was yelling and screaming and cursing in the yards of the neighborhood. He had knocked so loudly on the front door of the porch he ended up on that the reside hid in the closet from fear.
